This Badger Girl was an unexpected discovery in her den after her parents were moved to a different exhibit. (You think they cared that she was forgotten?)

Johannesburg Zoo staffers say:

"She was raised on Royal Canine puppy formula and proved to be very stubborn, only drinking when she needed to drink and not when you wanted her to do so. She is now more on solids. She is showing the signs of adult honey badgers, stalking guinea fowl in the Zoo, tail upright and crawling low to the ground. She is extremely smelly and scent marks everything and everyone."

So, she's stubborn and she pees everywhere?

What a sweet little princess!!

Meet the only animal stinkier than the skunk itself: The zorrilla.

More commonly referred to as the Striped Polecat, this creature is considered the smelliest on Earth.

It is a member of the weasal family and closely resembles the North American skunk in appearance, but has a much stronger fragrance.

Much like a skunk, the zorrilla secretes a pungent fluid from its anal glands to protect itself from predators.

The nocturnal animal lives in rocky crevices and eats small reptiles and rodents.

Yum!

Although, legend has it, if you place your nose directly up against the computer monitor you can still smell the creatures faint odors seeping through the screen.

"BO" is a no-no for these feathered friends!

Kiwis are native birds of New Zealand, known for their small size and unmistakable odor. These cute little guys pack a potent stench that makes them pretty unattractive to noses, but easily discoverable to predators.

Fearful that the birds could become endangered by the ever growing mammal population that feeds on them, scientists are hoping to develop a birdie deodorant to mask their smell.

Inventive, but we don't like the idea that their might be animal testing to ensure this product works. Better find a way around that!

In case you were wondering, scientists explain that kiwis tend to smell like "mushrooms or ammonia."

Sometimes dogs are smelly. Instead of kicking them out of the house, take a few steps to make them feel and smell cleaner, like simply giving them a bath or taking them to a groomer. If that doesn't work, try this:

“If repeated trips to the groomer don’t keep the stench away, smelly fur may not be the problem; a medical condition, such as an ear infection, could be the cause. Unlike our straight ear canals, dogs’ L-shaped canals are hard to clean, says Janet Tobiassen, a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Floppy-eared dogs, like cocker spaniels, are even more susceptible to infection than those with pointed ears. Be sure to check these breeds regularly. When you look at your dog’s ears, observe the color. You should see a natural pink pigmentation. If the ears are red or look inflamed, call your veterinarian.

Once a medical issue has been ruled out, turn to the bathtub. Use a gentle soap and a conditioner that is made specifically for your breed. In between washes, use an all-natural dog body spray, such as Lani Body Spray ($15, lanidigyourdog.com). Bonus: The spray doubles as a detangler, so your pet will smell and look fresh, too."
