Girl on the Train screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson is in talks to pen the adaptation, and songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul have signed on to create NEW songs for the project.

Marc Platt — who's also teaming up with Disney for Mary Poppins Returns — will produce the film.

But Snow White isn't the only Disney animated movie to get a live-action transformation!

Disturbingly Ever After! Here Are 8 Disney Movies That Originally Had MUCH Darker Endings!

Walt Disney Animation Studios: protecting our childhoods from much crueler fairy tale endings since 1937.

Most kids become acquainted with the concept of "happily ever after" by watching Disney films.

Classics like Snow White and Sleeping Beauty end with a spell-breaking "true love's kiss," and even more modern films like Tangled had happy endings with princesses being whisked away by their rescuer.

But most children would be shocked (or gruesomely intrigued) to learn that the fairy tales that these iconic movies were based on had much DARKER endings!

See the original dark fairy tales (and even real historical figures) which got severely distorted in the Disney-fication process…

We still cannot believe she's gone.

While we'll never be able to see Christina Grimmie perform live again after she was mercilessly murdered outside of a concert in Orlando two months ago, at least her music will be able to live on.

The 22-year-old's family made the heartwrenching decision to posthumously debut her Side A EP music video series with fans last week, and we're happy to say Part Two of The Ballad of Jessica Blue is just as powerful.

Snow White introduced us to The Voice finalist's alter ego, and Thursday's Anybody's You picks up directly where the first video left off… only this one may be even catchier!

It has a much more R&B feel than we're used to from the singer, and we're absolutely loving it.

Make sure to check back weekly to see Christina's vision in full!

This is such a sweet tribute to such a kind soul!

It's been two months since Christina Grimmie was senselessly shot dead outside of her Orlando concert, but luckily her fans are still getting new ways to remember their idol.

That's because the 22-year-old's family decided to posthumously release the music video for her new song Snow White on Thursday.

Apparently, Christina had filmed an entire visual EP entitled The Ballad of Jessica Blue shortly before her death, and the Grimmie family decided sharing the videos was the best way to honor their daughter.

While the song itself is just as catchy as the rest of The Voice finalist's discography, it's the accompanying storyline that really has us feeling extra emotional right now.

Plus, if you like what you see/hear, you can expect a new video from the series each and every week!

VOTE On The WORST Disney Prince Of All Time — Cuz They Ain't All Charming!

no title

Disney Princesses always get a bad rep for falling head-over-heels in love with dudes they sang half a duet with.

But when it comes to the Princes our favorite heroines fall for, a quick analysis confirms there's much more to be desired.

Sure, the animated hunks are easy on the eyes, but most are so one dimensional they make even the lamest sidekicks (we're looking at you, Rapunzel's chameleon) seem like cooler characters in comparison.

VOTE: Who Is The BEST Disney Couple?

Let's take the first Disney Prince ever, who appeared for literally two scenes in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. This Prince was so underwhelming, the animation studio didn't even bother to give him a name!

And still to this day, Princes are usually the worst characters in their films — lest we forget what an a-hole Hans from Frozen turned out to be.

So, which Prince from the Mouse House do YOU think is the worst? Cast your votes (below)!

Amanda wrote:

"This is my 2 year old - Jack Jack. He was having nothing to do with any of the characters on our Disney vacation in November. You see, he has autism and is non-verbal. He is on the shy side with people he does not know. THEN… he met Snow White. I must have cried 1000 tears watching his interaction with her. He was in love."

Awwwwww! All it took was true love's kiss! LOVES it!
