We need to do wellness checks on all the college-aged Beyoncé fans out there — this might be too much for the Beyhive to handle!

Following the release of Bey's iconic visual album Lemonade, The University of Texas at San Antonio announced it will offer an entire class on the subject.

Called Black Women, Beyoncé, and Popular Culture, the course will examine the singer's ode to "black womanhood" and how it relates to "theoretical, historical, and literary frameworks of black feminism". The enlightening class will be taught by Kinitra D. Brooks, a scholar of race, gender, and horror.

To break things down even further, the course will follow the album's progression all the way from Formation to All Night. Each chapter's theme will be reflected in the course materials to deftly demonstrate Lemonade's strong ties to black feminism.

While this sounds like every Beyoncé fan's dream, be advised that this course is NOT for slackers. Race, gender, class and pop culture theory is serious stuff, people!

Professor Brooks went on to advise prospective students:

You go, humans!

While Portlandia may not seem like the most offensive show on television at first glance, according to one Portland-based business, that's simply not the case.

Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein's comedy is currently filming Season Seven… but it's looking like they're going to have to find a new feminist bookstore for their famous Women and Women First sketch!

That's because IRL book shop In Other Words is boycotting the IFC series for being trans-antagonistic, trans-misogynistic, racist, cheap, and plain ol' not funny.

Apparently, Fred and Carrie's crew has not been the most accommodating of IOW's progressive principles. In fact, they allegedly tried to make the store remove a Black Lives Matter poster from the window for a shoot just this past Spring… so a volunteer for the store responded with a "F*ck Portlandia" sign instead (below)!

jesse williams is so woke

It's odd these days to find a celebrity who doesn't have a cause they're passionate about.

However, only a select few are truly aware about what is REALLY going on in the world. Those select few "woke" folks are not only using their platforms to make a difference but are also unapologetically vocal about their beliefs. Fierce.

Jesse Williams woke a lot of people up when he dropped some serious truths while accepting a BET Award for his work with the Black Lives Matter movement. While the Grey's Anatomy star may be the ULTIMATE woke boy, there are several others in Tinseltown who are following in his footsteps.

Be sure to ch-ch-check out the full list of woke stars for yourself (below)!

During the meeting, 9-year-old Zianna stood behind the podium, emotionally addressing racism and police shootings before the council, saying:

"I came here today to talk about how I feel, and I feel like we are treated differently than other people. And, I don't like how we're treated just because of our color. Doesn't mean anything to me."

The little girl began to break down, and exclaimed, with tears streaming down her face:

"We are black people and we shouldn't have to feel like this. We shouldn't have to protest because y'all are treating us wrong. We do this because we need to, and have rights."

Through her tears, the inspiring youngster composed herself, and continued:
