Sofia Vergara attended the unveiling of her Madame Tussauds’ wax models in New York City yesterday. The HIGHlarious Modern Family actress is the most recent addition to the museum’s company of life-size figurines, but this lady was so special, they had to make two of her!

As reported on Monday, one of Sofia’s likenesses will be staying in New York while the other will be seeking residence at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas!

The 40-year-old actress wore an electrifying blue knee-length form-fitting Michael Kors dress to the Gordon Park Foundation Awards on Tuesday night in New York City along with a snakeskin Stella McCartney clutch and matching Brian Atwood shoes.

Her long honey locks cascaded perfectly as she posed with one hand on her hip for the red carpet festivities.

We're not a big fan of her purple and pink cuff, but when you're dealing with perfection, it's hard to find a flaw — especially when your dress is the color of the sky when the rain stops and the clouds part.

We're just green with envy over Sofia Vergara!

La Esmeralda Estupenda wore this gorgeous green gown by Herve L. Leroux to the CFDA Awards in New York City Monday night, and surprise surprise the girls were out to play!

The form-fitting frock hugged her curves perfectly and the plunging neckline really had our attention, but even more so were the Colombian emeralds by Lorraine Schwartz that were draped around her neck.

Such a bold piece of jewelry, but it definitely works on Sofia, who just loves dramatic flair on the red carpet.

If they can actually make a replica of this flawless creature, then we bow down to the wax figurine gods.

Now here’s an actress we want to see immortalized!

Sofia Vergara will be the latest Hollywood star to get the wax treatment. Madame Tussauds New York and Las Vegas have just announced that the Modern Family actress will be likened into two new wax models, one for each museum!

Both wax models — that took four months to create — are set to be revealed tomorrow at the New York location before being exhibited separately in their according locations. Each will be dressed in Sofia’s real-life outfits, including the Marchesa gown she wore to the 2012 Met Gala and the leopard print dress she wore for the Modern Family Season 3 promo photos.

The museum’s divisional director Janine DiGioacchino stated:
