This ain't right!
Charleston, S.C. held their annual tree lighting event in their downtown area on Saturday, and to get things POPPING right, the city brought in a 2-year-old giraffe named Melman.
BUT… what the event coordinators and apparently the handler didn't know was that as soon as the Confetti Cannon went off, Melman was gonna react abnormally.

This is AH-MAYZING!
Wednesday night was rather freighting for the Myrick family, as their two-year-old little baby Peyton went missing.
But luckily for them, their family dog, Ashepoo stayed by the toddler's side after he strayed from the family's farm in South Carolina.

Labrador retrievers continue to prove themselves to be VERY smart and very loyal pups!
Mark Wessells left his beloved Bucky with his father in Virginia when he couldn't keep him in his Myrtle Beach, SC home.
But Bucky just couldn't be without Wessells so he walked 500 miles to be with him!
A foster family found the pooch and took him to the vet. The doc found a microchip and moments later, the smart was reunited with his owner!
After three months and a long journey, Bucky (above) is definitely a guy's best friend!
Check out more of the inspirational story right now!
We're going to hold our dog extra tight now!

Hey! It's not Easter yet! LOLz!
Erica Scheldt of Charleston was swimming at Sullivan's Island while babysitting. She was warned that stingrays lurked in the water and was shown a dead one that washed up on shore.
Snapping a picture of the back of dead fish, Scheldt just thought it was just a homeless guy and through it up on Instagram.
Nay…it was not a homeless dude. It was Jesus!

The infamous Lizard Man of South Carolina stikes again!
Car owners, Leon and Ada Marshall, discovered that their vehicle was riddled with what appeared to be teethmarks that went completely through the fender.
Of course, they say this can only be the work of a Lizard Man AND police seem to agree!
Former Lee County, S.C., Sheriff Liston Truesdale said:

RIP!
A South Carolina hiker is dead after falling 125 feet from a waterfall while trying to rescue his dog.
The dog regained its footing and survived.
Authorities say 29-year-old landscape architect David A. Lewis of Greenville was hiking with his girlfriend and his dog on Saturday afternoon when he tried to stop the dog from falling off a ledge.
The Greenville County Deputy Coroner said the man's girlfriend suffered some bruises as she went down to try to help the victim. Her name was not released.
Our heart goes out to the family of the victim.
