A network insider says that there are no definite plans, but a pilot has been taped, adding:

As everyone knows, Bethenny Frankel smartly used her time on Real Housewives of New York to promote her business ventures, and willingly left after the fourth season for her own spin-off, while the rest of the cast continued on and essentially descended into incessant, nasty squabbling and screaming over one another for an entire season.

As a result, Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, Kelly Bensimon and Cindy Barshop have all been axed, but instead of gloating or sticking it to them, the Skinnygirl herself is instead taking the high road when asked to comment on it all!

Scene-stealer Melissa McCarthy will be joining the new Judd Apatow comedy, which will center around the Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann characters from Knocked Up.

Child star Ryan Lee has also joined the cast, playing the son of Melissa's character. Albert Brooks and Megan Fox are also stars in the cast.

So far the movie has yet to be titled and the plot has been kept secret, but with a cast as amazing and diverse as this one, it will not disappoint.

Wow! Fox is seriously cleaning house!

The network has announced that FIVE of their shows - including Lie To Me, The Chicago Code, Traffic Light, Human Target, and Breaking In - have all been canceled!

However, FOUR have already been selected for a 2011-12 TV season pick-up, including the comedy The New Girl - which will star Zooey Deschanel and Jake M. Johnson and focus on the sexual politics of men and women - and I Hate My Teenage Daughter, a comedy about two women (Jaime Pressly and Katie Finneran) who were tormented as teens by mean girls. In the drama department, the Bones spin-off The Finder has also been picked up, as well as J.J. Abrams' Alcatraz!

Here's hoping that these all last longer than the shows they're replacing!

Team Jacob fans will be happy about this!

Stephenie Meyer has announced that she would consider writing a Twilight spin-off that would focus on Jacob Black and ahem, (spoiler: stop reading if you haven't read the fourth installment of the series) Renesmee Cullen.

When asked about whether or not he would be into the idea, Taylor Lautner said:

"Breaking news to me here…That would be interesting. Stephenie comes up with the craziest things. I'm sure she could go on. That's a crazy thought."

Umm, not that crazy. Twilight is a huge franchise and having a spin-off centered around one of the books' most beloved characters means mucho buck$$$.

The real question is whether or not KStew or RPatz would be willing to come back.
