Some people are blessed with chiseled facial features, but lets face it — the majority of us aren't!
Instead of the defined jaw line we've come to expect from leading male actors on the big screen, we are stuck with plain old chubby cheeks.
Beyond accepting that it's OKAY to not look like an Abercrombie and Fitch model, can exercise help loose the face flab?
A FitPerez reader named Michael says his are getting in the way of hix boxing and wanted suggestions for losing them so he wrote boxer Alex Brenes for some advice, asking:
I am boxing a lot at my local club and my chubby cheeks are getting in the way.
I heard running every day and dieting will help you loose face fat, but I was wondering if you had any other suggestions?
I am not a heavy guy, I weigh 180 and am 6'0". Can you choose certain areas in your body to lose weight from?
According to Alex:
What's up Mike!
Chubby cheeks may get in the way of some pictures, but I doubt they get in your way for a workout. I have heard everything about targeting a specific area of muscles to loose fat. Most people say "it's impossible" but I made my career of proving people wrong, so I say "yes", if not you will get a hell of a workout trying.
Bring your heart rate and body temperature up by jogging, jumping rope, jumping jacks, elliptical trainer, etc. and do specific exercises that target your problem area. For example, thighs-jump squats fast-30 reps.
Now keep it up until the frikin' bell rings…and come into DeLaBBC, we will work all your muscles.
