You MUST check out this mash-up of the Sri Lankan rapper's Paper Planes and the pop princess' How I Roll (above)!
The two work PERFECTLY together, and it makes the latter's song much more club/dance-friendly!
We guess some things are important to everyone - even M.I.A.!
The Sri Lankan rapper, who was locked out of the USA after visa issues a few years back, could easily resolve her immigration woes by marrying her fiance/baby daddy Benjamin Bronfman and getting a green card, but for the first time in her life she wants to be traditional and have an actual wedding!
"That's what they want me to do, but I'm not going to lose my integrity for that shit… I actually want a nice wedding. I'm not going to blow that. If they're gonna kick me out, it's going to be a fight, it's an important fight to have."
We agree with you on this stuff, bb! Everything that went down was pretty effing ridiculous if you ask us, and everyone deserves the wedding of their dreams - without the headache of having to cut through STOOPID red tape!

At the end of the day, her psychotic ramblings sound similar to that of a cracked out hooker stumbling the streets of downtown El Lay, so we're not surprised that she almost became one!!
As we're sure everyone's noticed by now, M.I.A. is making all kinds of mischief these days by spouting off conspiracy theories, tweeting journalist's phone numbers, and basically saying crazy shiz wherever she goes!
The latest gem comes from Nylon magazine, where the Sri Lankan rapper talks about the unusual tactics she employed to gain admittance to the prestigious St. Martin's college in London!
"I said, 'If you don't (accept me), you're going to change my life completely, because I'm going to go outside and get on the bus, and I'll be a crackhead prostitute and go to jail. And three years from now, I'll come out of jail and make the best film.'"
Or…you would have just stayed a crackhead prostitute serving jail time!!
And then no one would have to listen to your rants!
We know, it truly is an unjust world! So sad!

But the country is gonna lose a lot of money because of the cancellation!
"We were expecting about 5,000 to 6,000 tourists from India, the Maldives and Malaysia to watch the show. The mileage we would have got would have been priceless," said tourism chief Achala Jagoda.
He does realize that it would have been wrong to grant Akon a work permit after all the dramaz, but insists "this does not mean that we have a Taliban-style Buddhist following in Sri Lanka. Some parts of Akon's video were not culturally suitable for us."
Maybe next time - if Akon behaves himself!
