Sheryl Crow is such an inspiration.
She's been named as an ambassador for St. Jude's Children's Cancer Research Hospital.
Being a cancer survivor and a mother of two, the hospital is close to the singer's heart. She's the face of a new campaign called Music Gives to St. Jude Kids, which is also backed by Kings of Leon.
Speaking of the effects of cancer, Sheryl says:
"A cancer diagnosis is a complete and total show stopper that leaves a family feeling completely helpless. By uniting the music industry through Music Gives, we are going to help give these families hope by raising funds for St. Jude, a place that is on the cutting edge of cancer research and always looking for a cure."
St. Jude's is a fantastic charity. We applaud Sheryl's efforts and are inspired by her big heart.

The cast of iCarly and Victorious put on their charity hats to help raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during the “Stars for the Kids” benefit.
The event featured four stations where kids attending could interact with the stars via live chat room, photo booth (where their photos were turned into cases for their mobile phone devices), dance in front of a green screen featuring cartoon bodies, and take a red carpet Hollywood style photo.
There were also live and silent auctions that raised over $100,000 for St. Jude.
AND, Miranda Cosgrove celebrated her 18th birthday that same night!
What an awesome party!
