The 32 owners of the NFL have given the greenlight to the Rams to move to El Lay for the 2016 season, while the Chargers have the option of joining them next year.

The former St. Louis team will play at the L.A. Coliseum until their new stadium in Inglewood opens in 2019.

The San Diego team has officially one year to join The Rams in Inglewood. If they fail to do so, the Oakland Raiders will take their spot instead.

The vote was 30-2 in favor of relocation.

When it rains, it pours; and when El Lay wants a pro football team, they get… three?!

Big news out of the City of Angels comes from the NFL Tuesday as three teams — the San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders, and St. Louis Rams — all just filed paperwork to relocate there.

In a statement, the league confirmed the applications from each of the teams, noting:

"The applications will be reviewed this week by league staff and three league committees that will meet in New York on Wednesday and Thursday."

Of course, it's been about 20 years since the Rams and Raiders both left El Lay for St. Louis and Oakland, respectively — but now the pair as well as the Chargers want to get back to the glitz and glam of Hollywood!

There's still a ton of legal maneuvering to happen before any of this can be a reality, and it's not likely to expect all three teams to be playing football in the city; the NFL has said they will only support

If you build it, they will come!

St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke is taking a page out of Kevin Costner's book and building a field of dreams!

Only, in Kroenke's case, the field is a football stadium in the middle of Inglewood, California — not a corn field.

Kroenke and his partners Stockbridge Capital Group are planning to build a stadium, along with a 6,000-seat performance venue on the former site of the Hollywood Park racetrack, next to the Forum. That's convenient since Stockbridge owns the property, and Kroenke bought 60-acres next to it.

They've projected that the 80,000-seat stadium will open by 2018, and are already seeking signatures to get it on the Inglewood municipal ballot in 2015.

So, what does Inglewood mayor James T. Butts Jr. think of this? He said:

We had a feeling some people wouldn't like this.

Yesterday, before their home game against the Oakland Raiders, some of the St. Louis Rams players came out onto the field with their hands up, silently and peacefully protesting the Michael Brown shooting decision in nearby Ferguson.

St. Louis Rams Enter The Field With A BIG Statement! Watch Their 'Don't Shoot' Tribute To The Michael Brown Protests HERE!

We have a feeling their message was heard loud and clear.

Throughout the months following Michael Brown's deadly shooting, people have been peacefully protesting police violence with their hands up in a 'don't shoot' stance.

Some of the St. Louis Rams players continued this silent protest on Sunday, after former officer Darren Wilson was not indicted for the shooting last week.

Stedman Bailey, Jared Cook, Chris Givens and receivers Tavon Austin and Kenny Britt were among the Rams who entered the Edward Jones Dome with their hands up as they jogged onto the field before playing the Oakland Raiders.

After a touchdown in the first quarter, the silent protest was seen again.

You can watch just how powerful it was (above)!

michael sam cut st louis rams

After falling to the 249th pick in the NFL draft, people knew making a roster would be an uphill battle for Michael Sam, who is the leagues first openly gay player.

However, his skills didn’t quite live up to expectation, and the St. Louis Rams had to cut him, in favor of undrafted rookie Ethan Westbrooks.

Now, Sam is on waivers, but if no other team picks him up, the Rams would love to keep him in the organization on the practice squad!

Coach Jeff Fisher talked about Sam at a press conference, saying
