Vanessa Hudgens Could Be Making Her Way To Broadway In A Reboot Of Gigi! Très Chic!

Spring break forever The Great White Way!

Vanessa Hudgens will be trading in her teeny bikinis and three-way sex scenes, for a possible chance at a Broadway debut!

Thrilling, isn't it?!

It was just announced that the High School Musical actress will lead a private industry reading of Gigi in late July — alongside stage stars Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza), Corey Cott (Newsies), Kate Burton (Hedda Gabler), Steffanie Leigh (Mary Poppins) and Howard McGillin (The Phantom of the Opera).

Once the reading is over, the show will play a pre-Broadway engagement at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in January 2015, before eventually hitting NYC for a rumored run.

No guarantees that the casting as is will stick, but we'd assume if Vanessa does well, she has the B-way role in the bag.

Set at the turn of the 20th century, Gigi tells the story of a wild teen girl living in Paris, who is groomed to be in a relationship with a bored wealthy man.

The twist is that they actually fall madly in love! Awe!

We know Baby V is a free spirit — so this role sounds perfect for her.

Guess we'll just have to patiently stay tuned for the actual casting!

Justin Long Loves Going Down!

Thanks for the insight, Justin Long!

The actor was recently part of the staged reading of Neil LaBute's Filthy Talk for Troubled Times: Scenes of Intolerance, in which he played a HOrrific misogynist who is particularly vocal about his distaste of a certain sexual act involving a gentleman's tongue and a laaady's vayjayjay!

However, he wants the world to know that there are no similarities between the character and himself!

He says:

"There were parts about certain…well, acts that men supposedly don't like performing on women that I have very strong feelings against. I would very much argue the opposite."

Wonderful. Now that image of you and Drew Barrymore will haunt us forever, bb!

Boo!
