Philosophical funnyman Russell Brand joined the always-inspirational Dalai Lama in Manchester UK Saturday, as part of the Stand Up and Be The Change initiative.

Quick witted RussRuss said of the Dalai:

"He is intense and sort of mellow, which is what you expect of someone who meditates five times a day."

Apparently, the pair went together like peaceful peanut butter and enlightened jelly!

Now that's a sandwich we'd like to munch on…
