Dave Chapelle BOOED Off Stage At Miami Charity Show!

Uh-oh! Is someone heading toward another bizarre meltdown?!

Dave Chappalle baffled his audience during a 'stand-up' performance at Alonzo Mourning’s Summer Groove charity event in Miami last night, when he pretty much refused to tell jokes, yelled at fans for recording him, and spent the majority of the time checking his text messages!

According to CNN contributor Roland S. Martin:

“This Dave Chappelle set is bizarre. He’s spent more time going back & forth with one audience member, & pretty much stopped telling jokes."

“I’m just not understanding what threw him off. He’s complained about folks videotaping his set, yelling out loud. I don’t get it.”

“Chappelle says this is a ‘test of wills.’ He keeps saying ‘tick tock’ & he has ‘nothing but time.’ He’s just staring at the crowd & sighing.”

“He’s been on stage 46 minutes & told one joke.”

And as you can see from a video of the performance (above), he's eventually booed off the stage!

So strange!

We hope you're taking care of yourself, Sir!

Kathy Griffin Calls Sarah Palin's Bluff In New Stand-Up

Hey! She took her up on her offer!

Kathy Griffin and Sarah Palin have been in an all-out war of the words for quite some time now, and the former governor of Alaska was even recently quoted requesting that the comedienne "pick on me, come up to Alaska and pick on me, but leave my kids alone."

Well, on last night's Bravo special Kathy Griffin: Gurrl Down, she revealed that she, in fact, did just that - and knocked on the politician's front door!

Ch-ch-check out the clip (above)!

Ha! AH-MAZING!

We're obsessed!

Once again, we guess Miz Sarah's going to have to eat her words!

Hey! Wouldn't be the first time!

Well done, Kathy! Well done!

Kathy Griffin Says Good-Bye To My Life On The D-List, Talks Life After!

Filed under: TV NewsKathy GriffinReality TV

kathy-griffin-announces-end-to-my-life-on-the-d-list

This is such a bummer! But we can understand why it would be time.

After a bit of speculation as to whether or not it would continue, Kathy Griffin has officially announced that her Bravo reality series, My Life On The D-List, will be coming to an end after six seasons!

But don't worry! If you still need your Kathy fix, network executive Andy Cohen revealed that they'll be airing four of her brand new comedy specials, set to drop quarterly in 2011!

Cohen said in a statement:

"There is no better way to start off 2011 than giving Kathy Griffin an unprecedented four new stand-up comedy specials on Bravo in one year. Kathy's quick fire humor and ability to tap into pop culture make for must watch television."

And Kathy herself explains:

"It was a really tough decision because I think of the D-List as pretty much my baby for the last six seasons and I also think it was really time to stop doing it. Reality is great, but I really didn't set out to be a reality star. So now it's time to spread my wings and show that I'm a little different than Kate Gosselin. I'm not saying better, but maybe separate myself from the pack a little bit. I just cannot get enough or do enough stand-up. And there's so much fun stuff going on – from Oprah's launch of [cable network] OWN … not to mention the new Paula Abdul show [Live to Dance] or who knows what celebrity run-in I've had myself. [I'm] trying to keep the material as up to the minute as possible. Audiences know when they come to see me live, they're going to see new stuff. [And] as long as there's a show called My Strange Addiction about a woman who only eats toilet paper … then I have to do stand up."

And that's not all! The comedienne is also hoping to get back into sitcoms, and even do a Curb Your Enthusiasm-esque improvised series with "some characters from the D-List that you've come to love, and then maybe I'll have actors play a couple other characters that are from my real life."

NICE! We'd take that in lieu of the reality series any day!

It certainly sounds like you've got a lot of cool stuff in the works for 2011, bb!

We're DEFINITELY excited to see what you've got for us!

Best of luck!

Why Was Obama So Funny At The Correspondent's Dinner??

wenn2827061jb1.jpg

Well it's no surprise he killed it the way he did!

He's smart enough to hire the best!

Everyone is talking about President Barack Obama's stand-up routine at the White House Correspondent's Dinner, most agreeing that he did an INFINITELY better job than Jay Leno, who performed as well - to significantly less laughs!

And now we know why! We're now hearing that Obama hired staff writers from The Daily Show to come up with his material!

Excellent move! Granted, we think that his kids could have written the jokes and he still would have fared better than the HOrrific Leno, but regardless!

Way to bring the LOLz, bb!!
