It's a Christmas miracle!!
Parks and Recreation star Adam Scott confirmed a Party Down is in the works!!
The Scott says:
“We have a treatment and if everyone’s schedules work out, we’ll shoot it over the summer.”
Did Adam write the movie? That's sounds amazical!
Now all that’s apparently needed is for Starz to sign off on the project.
Why wouldn't they? Turing the fantastic (and totally underrated) TV show into a movie is the greatest idea we've heard since the Arrested Development movie!
"Are we having fun yet?" GAWD, we CANNOT wait!!

More chiseled gladiators fighting to the death?
Starz has ordered another season of its most successful original series, well before the premiere of the second season. Viewers have been raving about Spartacus: Blood and Sand and its prequel, Gods of the Arena, and Starz will not disappoint its fan base.
The second season, titled Spartacus: Vengeance, will star Aussie Liam McIntyre, replacing (with consent) the original Spartacus, Andy Whitfield, who tragically passed away in September.
The second season will premeire in January 2012 on Starz and series favorites, Lucy Lawless, Peter Mensah, and others are set to return as well.
Who's ready for some more Spartacus?

Hopefully these numbers don't drop, ESPECIALLY since Starz has already committed themselves to a second season…
Last month, Starz made the bold move of granting Kelsey Grammer's new show Boss a second season EVEN before the show premiered.
Now, the ratings are in, and Boss debuted with a total of 1.7 million viewers for its multiple airings over the weekend.
Not bad, but

So nice to see the network standing so strong and supportive in honor of this incredible tragedy.
After Spartacus: Blood and Sand star Andy Whitfield lost his battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma early last month, his show's network, Starz, has released this touching tribute to his life.
Please watch (above).
President and CEO Chris Albrecht says in a statement:

The tragic death of Andy Whitfield has left Spartacus fans mourning.
To honor his wonderful contributions to the television community, Starz will pay special tribute to Andy, who died at 37 of non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
In October, they were showcase five of his most outstanding episodes from the series. The mini marathon will air October 2.
They will also re-air the entire season of Spartacus: Blood and Sand on December 16, 2011.
We miss you, Andy! We hope you're smiling wherever you are!

Tits In The Pits may sound like a bad late-night cinemax softcore porn, but it's actually the name of a television pilot about the first woman to ever own her own NASCAR team!
Starz may be picking the series, which insiders are describing as a "red state Mad Men".
According to sources, the one-hour original drama "follows the jilted wife of a legendary driver who seeks revenge by courting sponsors from Madison Avenue and building her own NASCAR team from scratch."
Apparently the name isn't just a clever rhyme meant for chuckles either. It alludes to the NASCAR expression,"No tits in the pits!"
Despite the reference, we're still not overly enthused by the title. For anyone who agrees that the title is a bit too sexist for a show that wants viewers to take the female leads seriously, the good news is it's only tentative!

Despite its status as the networks' highest rated new series ever, Starz's Camelot has been canceled after one, ten-episode season!
The show, which starred Jamie Campbell Bower, Joseph Fiennes, and Eva Green's apparently started out with strong numbers, but they later dropped significantly.
Such a shame! We thought people really were enjoying this one!
Luckily, all of those actors have pretty decent careers, so at least we're confident they'll find other projects soon!
Best of luck, guys!
