Inneresting… we don’t quite know what to make of this.
Ke$ha is already touring this summer with Pitbull, but she just announced her own headlining North America tour that will take place in August. However, the places she’ll be playing at include isolated areas and State Fairs!!!
For instance, one of the locations listed is Gilford, New Hampshire. In case you weren’t familiar with Gilford (as most people aren’t), Gilford is a small town with a population of barely 7,000 according to the last census.
And then, of course, she’ll be at the Illinois State Fair.
View her full list of tour dates to see if she’ll be hitting up the State Fair near YOU …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
The poor people who died at the Indiana State Fair this past August can never be replaced, but perhaps this will help ease the pain of those still with us who suffered so dearly that day.
Sugarland duo Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush will return to Indiana this month for a free concert at Conseco Fieldhouse. The October 28th show will serves as the band's final stop on their Incredible Machine Tour and will feature some TBA special guests.
According to the press release,
Every year, state fairs across the nation present attendees with hundreds of food tents with hundreds of options, most of which are fried and on a stick.
Since calorie count is no object and only the guiltiest of pleasures are considered as ingredients, the food selection is often ridiculously delicious for Americans craving the junkiest of junk food.
Over the years, venders have also learned they can deep fry anything and we'll eat it. That doesn't help Michelle Obama's anti-obesity campaign much, but it did lead to this years controversial staple at the Iowa State Fair, deep fried butter on a stick! Yum?

Remember that butter cow sculpture we told you about?
Well, we thought it sounded a little nasty and guess what? We weren't the only ones!
Animal rights activists broke into the Iowa State Fair Saturday night, sneaking past a guard and scaling a wall, to hang a "Go Vegan" sign onto the neck of the butter cow.
Then, they emailed the Des Moines Register to let the paper know they had "redecorated the butter cow."
In their email, they also wrote:
"The butter cow represents humankind's tyranny over defenseless animals."
It was only up for a couple hours before guards took down the sign. A spokeswoman for the fair, said, "It was very minor for us because it was so early in the morning."
LOLz! Why wouldn't the activists email the paper many, many hours AFTER putting up the sign? At least by then, it could have been seen by a few people!
Earlier we discovered that people at state fairs love frying anything, especially butter. While most have found the heart-stopping fair food repulsive, one brave American isn't afraid to voice her support for heart disease inducing food!
In preparation to resume her One Nation bus tour, she emailed her supporters to inform them she'd be making a stop at the Iowa State Fair and wrote:
"I'm excited to try some of that famous fried butter-on-a-stick, fried cheesecake-on-a-stick, fried Twinkies, etc. I'll enjoy [the fried food] in honor of those who'd rather make us just 'eat our peas.'"
The "peas" part is in reference to the President's speech about the debt crisis, in which he said:
"It's not going to get easier. It's going to get harder. So we might as well do it now: Pull off the Band-Aid, eat our peas."
We had no idea the government thought peas were THAT bad! LOL!
In fact, we don't think peas are no where near as dangerous to democracy as brussels sprouts! Ha!
We're sure this is another ploy to convince her supporters that she's just one of the "folks", but we really hope that Sarah realizes that people eating fried food regularly is one of the biggest contributions to America's unusually high obesity rate!
Contrary to Mrs. Palin's belief that big government is forcing Americans to eat their vegetables, we want the country to know it's okay to eat peas!

"Sitting in my favorite French restaurant after 4 hours of French with my tutor," she Tweeted the night of her concert.
Yikes! Can't spin that, bb.
