Lindsay Lohan Has NOT Approved A New Lawyer And Has NOT Arrived In El Lay For Her Trial Tomorrow!

lindsay lohan trial

Just in time for the legal circus that is going to be Lindsay Lohan's trial tomorrow!

MORE CRAZY from the perpetually-troubled starlet!

With any chance of a plea deal out the window and prosecution urging Judge James Dabney to allow no more extensions to her lawyer Mark Heller, the man chastised as "incompetent" during his last appearance in the courtroom is desperately moving to find a California-licensed attorney to take the lead for him, and Fox News legal analyst David Wohl has agreed to do just that, on behalf of Michael Lohan!

However, according to Paul Wallin, the owner of the firm where Wohl works:

“We are awaiting Ms. Lohan’s approval. Mr. Heller made the request. The court and our firm want to ensure the integrity of this case.”

And Wohl HIMSELF even took to Twitter to try to get a hold of her:

What's the EFFING hold up?!

Gayle King Wants Matchmaker Lawsuit Dismissed!

gayle-king-wants-matchmaker-lawsuit-dismissed

Uh-oh! Gayle King is NOT playing around!

A few months back, she was sued by a woman known as Orly the Matchmaker, over claims that Gayle promised her an appearance on Oprah in return for her service, which normally costs $500,000, and it never panned out!

However, now the Big O's BFF has filed new documents in California federal court, requesting that the lawsuit be thrown out, because the state law asserts that oral contracts, which Orly cites as their main form of agreement, involving 'dating services' are "void and unenforceable!"

Illinois Pet Stores Required To Post Animal's History

A new state law, which is to go into effect January 1st, will hopefully diminish the number of puppy mills and unlicensed breeding facilities in Illinois.

By the start of 2011, pet stores and animal shelters will be required to post the history of their dogs and cats that will include the name and address of the animal's breeders, a record of their medical conditions, including vet treatments and vaccinations, any hereditary defects, as well as the animal's parents, date of birth, and breed.

The information must be signed by both the customer and the pet shop before the sell or adoption can be finalized.

Some critics, however, are saying that the new law won't really help because it doesn't protect pets and potential pet owners from "Basement Pirates," which are unlicensed people who sell animals illegally out of their basements at highway stops.

"If you pick up the classifieds, you will find 10 of these. Those guys aren’t going to be affected by (the law)," says pet shop owner Greg Gordon.

It's a step in the right direction to help stop puppy mills, however more definitely needs to be done.

Potential pet owners should always do extensive research before adopting.
