With hundreds of thousands of people in the U.S. and millions around the globe searching for a lifesaving organ transplant, there can never be too many donors.
Since pretty much EVERY person in the world has a Facebook account, is there a better place to start advertising? We can't think of one!
Mark Zuckerberg has launched a new feature on the social media site he founded which allows users to share their status as an organ donor. Along with spreading awareness and personal stories of those who have already chosen to be donors, Zuckerberg hopes the initiative will encourage more users to register with the appropriate service in their area.
Hear what Facebook's CEO has to say about the issue in the Good Morning America interview (above), then check out the new feature for yourself! In your status update bar, click on the "Life Event" option, then select the "Health & Wellness" category to find the "Organ Donor" tab.
If U haven't registered yet, there is even a handy-dandy link available to sign up!

And the average Facebook user doesn't like people who just update their status with complaint after complaint.
A study published in Psychological Science has found that Facebook isn't the best place for people with already low self-esteem to make friends.
While sharing is an important part of friendship, constantly sending out negative messages to those friends, via status update, is not. Unfortunately, the study has found that is exactly what people with low self-esteem do.

Surprise, surprise! Yet another person on Facebook is complaining!
Madonna's estranged brother, Christopher G. Ciccone, has taken to social media to try to bring down the Queen of Pop.
Following her massively successful Nightline interview, Chistopher updated his status with these supportive messages:

As if this isn't a D'UH enough subject, but…
Don't believe everything you read on Facebook, people!
Despite a viral status update making its rounds on the social networking site claiming that it will soon be charging its users to be a member, a representative has shot it down as just a rumor!
This is apparently the status update in question:

Uh-huh. We'll see about that.
This morning, Dominic Copper was on hand to announce the Orange BAFTA Award nominations alongside Inception star Talulah Riley .
After all was said and done, Dominic was asked about the status of some of his upcoming flicks, like the highly rumored sequel to Mamma Mia. There's a lot of people who are anxious to see Meryl Streep and his ex Amanda Seyfried do some more Dancing Queen on screen. However, according to Dominic, it isn't going to happen. He told one source:
"Mamma Mia 2, it's very unlikely. There are no other songs to sing!"
Um, that's wrong. There are tons more than can sing.
Hmm. Are you just saying this because you don't think YOU'LL be asked back if they do decided to do it? Think Minge is going to make sure you're recasted? Bitter much?
