Dolce & Gabbana is known for their fancy opulent gear worn by celebs and other high-fashion dedicated individuals, but their customers' kids didn't have matching ensembles — until now!

In July, the designing duo will unveil their first elegant children's collection, which Stefano describes as a "miniature version" of their signature line.

The miniaturized duds will include a slew of categories including footwear, beachwear, fancy dresses, suits, footwear, gym wear and accessories for infants and boys and girls up to age 10!

There's no evading this order!

Prosecutors will finally get their day in court with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana after a judge in Milan gave the go ahead to try the designers for not declaring taxes on over $1.25 BILLION in revenue.

As we mentioned last year, a judge cleared the duo of all charges in April, but was ultimately overturned in November after prosecutors appealed the decision.

So far there's no date set for a trial, but after Stefano's innocent tweet on Friday, it sounds like settling out of court isn't going to be an option.

Don't worry, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are not making a big career change!

However, fans of both film and fashion will be pleased to hear that the designing duo will be appearing in Woody Allen's latest pic, To Rome With Love.

Earlier this week the company’s online magazine tweeted the pic (above) featuring Dolce & Gabbana posing as spectators of Ruggero Leoncavallo’s lyrical opera Pagliacci at the Argentina Theater in Rome. The photo was captioned:

"Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana: cameos in #WoodyAllen's latest #movie!"

The flick hits Italian theaters on April 20.

Bananas!

Italian powerhouses Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana are going ape shiz over a South African gift shop's name, Dolce & Banana.

Although we think the name is pretty darn clever, Dolce & Gabbana's holding company Gado didn't, and have hit the small business owner Mijou Beller with a lawsuit citing monkey business "objectionable conduct" causing "diluting" of the iconic brand.

Fearing further litigation, the owner has since changed the name of the shop to … & Banana.

Absolutely ridic!

If you were hoping for a Dolce & Gabbana for H&M or Target collaboration, stop snorting that "hopium" because it ain't happenin'!

In an interview with Women's Wear Daily, Domenico Dolce turned up his nose at the very idea of it:

"Recently, it’s all “trusciume” [in Sicilian, cheap, trashy] — there’s no quality, these fast-fashion companies churning out looks. People thought it was cool, but it’s cheap. You can’t expect quality at 20 euros [$27]. It’s like good codfish at 5 euros [$6.70] — how can it be?"

Hey, they may be cheap but they also sell like hotcakes!

Dolce & Gabbana are once again facing tax evasion charges!

In April, a judge cleared the two of all charges, citing there was no foundation for a trial, but that the decision was overturned on Wednesday by Italy's equivalent of the Supreme Court.

Wow.

Based on the court's decision, there will now be a new preliminary hearing in front of a new judge.

It's official.

Dolce & Gabbana have decided to put the kibosh on their younger D&G line.

As we mentioned back in March, there were talks about merging D&G with the main line and that is in fact the plan.

Domenico and Stefano said in a statement that their decision to combine both lines would give "even more strength and energy to our collections."

Now that they've pulled the trigger, the final D&G collection will walk the runway in Milan this afternoon.
