Donald Trump Wages War Against Republicans Of The Freedom Caucus — And Twitter Laughs At The Hypocrisy!

Filed under: PolitikDonald TrumpSad SadTwitterViral: News

How do you deal with a bunch of unruly conservatives going against your divisive agenda? You destroy them, obviously.

That's why Donald Trump waged war on the conservatives of the House Freedom Caucus on Thursday, suggesting his Republican minions should "fight them" if they fail to back his agenda.

The dispute began when the caucus members blocked Trump's Affordable Care Act replacement last Friday, causing POTUS to prematurely pull out (he hates doing that!) ahead of the house vote.

But instead of working with the lawmakers who oppose him, Trump decided to cause more division within his own party and call on those blindly supporting him to fight against everyone who doesn't.

Taking to his favorite podium, Twitter, the President threatened opposing Republicans to quickly get with his program or face the wrath ofPaul Ryan, we guess? He shared:

Bravo! Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy Introduces A Bill To BAN Stephen Bannon!

Stephen Bannon

Bravo!!!

On Wednesday U.S. Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy introduced a bill on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives in an effort to protect the National Security Council (NSC) from political interference and to ensure that Donald Trump is getting national security counsel WITHOUT the dangerous influence of partisan politics.

AKA… Keep Stephen Bannon OUT of the NSC!!

Murphy's proposed legislation will have two provisions:

– To ensure that no individual whose "primary responsibility is political in nature" is assigned to the council or authorized to attend NSC meetings; and,
– To express the view of Congress that the Director of National Intelligence or the Chairman of the Joints Chiefs of Staff should have a standing invitation to attend Principal Committee meetings.

Taking the stand, Miz Murphy explained the importance of depoliticizing the NSC and putting the safety of Americans first:

"The security of the American people should be more important than partisan politics. As a former national security specialist at the Department of Defense and a current member of the House Armed Services Committee, I can tell you the last place partisan politics belongs is in national security. It is reasonable and commonplace for presidents to decide who attends security meetings, but I strongly believe the Director of National Intelligence and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff should have a standing invitation to attend all Principals Committee meetings given their importance to national security and expertise. My bill will help depoliticize national security so that we never jeopardize the safety and security of the American people."

no title

We already know Donald Trump absolutely does not want to live in Washington, DC — but he just made his HUGE first move towards governing there.

On Sunday afternoon, just hours before his major interview with 60 Minutes is set to hit airwaves, The Donald announced his Chief of Staff for the White House.

It's a familiar name, too: Reince Priebus.

That's right, the chairman of the Republican National Committee — who at times had a strained relationship with The Donald on the campaign trail, and yet was ultimately loyal to the President-elect — is set to be White House Chief of Staff in Trump's administration.

In and of itself, that's the first really BIG thing done by Trump ahead of his January inauguration. Beyond that, it's a signal to his aggressive base that Trump might be ALREADY going against their wishes!!

See, The Donald chose Priebus — an "establishment" guy — for Chief of Staff ahead of

Wait, MORE controversy for Donald Trump's campaign?!

In the middle of a really, really bad stretch the last few weeks, news is breaking Friday morning that Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort has resigned!!

Related: Donald Trump Has Said Some OUTRAGEOUS Things!

The news comes just two days after Trump hired extremely controversial Breitbart News leader Stephen Bannon to be his campaign CEO, and there's no question Manafort was pushed aside in a power struggle.

Ironically, it was just two months ago that Manafort himself won a power struggle over then-campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, who was fired on June 20 amid allegations of physically restraining a Breitbart News reporter during a press event.

Now, Manafort is gone, too, and the Trump campaign released a statement reflecting that this morning:

Donald Trump Hires 'Win At All Cost' Breitbart News Exec As New Campaign Head — But Should Hillary Clinton REALLY Be 'Very Afraid'?

We can't say we're surprised by this move.

Donald Trump doesn't care for people telling him what to do, so it only makes sense that the new head of his campaign happens to run the most unapologetically pro-Trump media outlet in the country!

Months after firing his controversial campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, the Republican presidential candidate is shaking up his campaign once again by bringing in Breitbart News executive chairman Stephen Bannon as campaign CEO!
