Wait, wait, wait…

A Perks of Being a Wallflower SEQUEL?! But that would simply RUIN the emotional craftsmanship of the original book/beautiful film!

And would Emma Watson even sign on for such a questionable project?!

Well, maybe!

At least, she might in TEN YEARS time, when Perks creator Stephen Chbosky envisions constructing a follow up film which would revisit the characters we've come to know so well, ten years later!

Chbosky recently revealed:

Emma Watson Is Perky In New Wallflower Clip

Filed under: Film FlickersEmma WatsonPaul Rudd

The Perks of Being A Wallflower looks soooo darned precious!!

We want to hug it and love it and squeeze it for days!!

In this brand-spankin' new clip from MTV (above), we witness Charlie finally receiving recognition perks for being such a wonderful wallflower!

Sadly, there's no Paul Rudd in this scene but we suppose it would probably be awkward to invite your English teacher to a party!

Most importantly, we hear more adorbzies American accent from Emma Watson adorbzies American accent, LOLz!!

We approve, we approve!!

Emma Watson Reveals How Perks Of Being A Wallflower Killed Her Inner-Most Hermione

Hermione Granger is dead! DEAD!!

At least so far as Emma Watson is concerned.

It took the budding young actress years to finally exorcise the mudblood muggle-born witch from her psyche, but she's finally gone!

And, no, it wasn't cooked out during her recent seXXXy sunbathing sabbatical in the Hamptons, LOLz!!

Emma and Hermione parted ways while filming The Perks of Being a Wallflower!

She remembers specifically one scene in which her character stands up in the back of a truck while she's driven through a tunnel, that's what provided the final death blow to her innermost she-wizard.

Emma recalls:

Summit Picks Up Emma Watson's Flick! Perks Of Being A Wallflower A Go!

Finally! We've been waiting for news on this! Let's hope Summit give this project all the attention it deserves.

The company behind the Twilight Saga has reached an agreement to produce The Perks of Being a Wallflower, an adaptation of the controversial Stephen Chbosky novel. There hasn't been an official announcement yet from Summit Entertainment, but with an amazing director (Chbosky himself will be taking the helm) and Emma Watson and Logan Lerman signed on as the leads, they'd be crazy not to make the deal.

If our sources are correct and everything is set, look for the flick to go into production by June.

We're so excited to see Emma play Sam. It's an amazing character, so nurturing and lovely. She's going to be fantastic, for sure!

Emma Watson and That Percy Jackson Kid To Be In Perks Of Being A Wallflower Adaptation!!

This is seriously exciting news! We LOVED that book!

Emma Watson and that Percy Jackson kid, Logan Lerman, are in talks to star in the film adaptation of indie kid favorite The Perks of Being a Wallflower!

For those of you who weren't emotionally tortured 12 year olds, the novel, written by Stephen Chbosky (who also is writing and directing the film) chronicles a young boy's awkward teenage years, experimentation with drugs and sexuality in a series of letters he's writing to an unknown recipient!

We're being a little sassy, but in all seriousness, it's a wonderful, heartwrenching story that deserves a good adaptation!

No news on who's playing who, but we imagine Lerman will play the protagonist Charlie and Watson will take on Sam, his friend and love interest!

We think they'll be PERFECT! We can't wait to hear more details!
