Stephen King Thinks It's 'Fascinating' People Still Care So Much About The Child Gangbang Scene In IT!

First, in case you weren't aware, yes, there is an underage gangbang scene in the novel It. Obviously it was left out of the 1990 TV miniseries, and once again you don't have to worry about it being in the new hit Hollywood film.

But um, why the eff does it exist in the first place??

Basically, after defeating the evil clown, the Losers' Club find themselves lost in the sewers. So Bev, the sole girl in the group, decides they all have to lose their virginity together to regain their closeness as a group and find a way out.

Obviously, that makes NO sense out of context (or even in context), but suffice to say ultimately the scene is a metaphor for the transition of the children to adulthood.

Pennywise The Clown Drags Down 'The Losers Club' In The Still-Terrifying IT Remake — Review Roundup!

no title

After a quiet, blockbuster-less summer, Stephen King fans are dying to be terrorized by Pennywise the Clown on the big screen.

But based on the first viewings of the It remake, the iconic demon was the least impressive part of the Warner Bros. adaptation!

Overall, critics enjoyed Andy Muschietti's take on the horror classic — specifically, the dynamic of the film's core group, The Losers Club. The friendships and banter of the fearful heroes will satisfy audiences craving some ‘80s nostalgia a la Stand By Me, The Goonies, and Stranger Things.

QUIZ: What Type Of Horror Movie Is Your Life?

But Bill Skarsgård's Pennywise had many critics covering their eyes — not out of fear, but because of a cartoonish, cinematic intensity many felt was a clown-step in the wrong direction from Tim Curry's terrifying version.

Though 2017 Pennywise still had his truly petrifying moments, and the demon's other disturbing incarnations sprinkled throughout the R-rated film will make most fans float with a joyful fear.

The Dark Tower Is Getting Toppled By Critics! See The Vicious Review Roundup!

no title

We didn't expect The Dark Tower to be Shakespeare (or even Captain America), but one of the worst reviewed movies of the year??

Yep, as of this writing the movie sits at a sad 16% on Rotten Tomatoes, something that probably shouldn't be too much of a surprise given reviews were embargoed until the day it came out.

But even the kind reviews are so half-hearted, it sounds like the Stephen King adaptation is a movie for NO ONE.

The saddest part is, the books have been coming out for decades, and an adaptation has been in some form of development for about 15 years. And after all that time… eesh.

Too bad for Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey, too. Because they sure are doing their part being adorable to sell it!
