Macklemore Denies Dressing As A Jewish Stereotype, But We'll Let You Decide If His Costume Is Offensive Or Not!
No, Macklemore. Just no.
Macklemore donned a costume that was pretty offensive in the fact that it was probably the most egregious Jewish stereotypes while performing Thrift Shop and Can't Hold Us on Friday at EMP’s Vivid event in Seattle.
Macklemore looked like a walking Jewish stereotype that would be likely to be found in the movie Borat.
Pop some tags? We're going to mop some gags…because we're practically vomiting on how gross this was.
What a totally inappropriate costume. You should know better, Macklemore.
But did Macklemore own up to his faux pas and apologize? Nope. He denied any wrong doing on Twitter:
A fake witches nose, wig, and beard = random costume. Not my idea of a stereotype of anybody.
