Is the Crocodile Hunter back? Not quite but his son is almost there!

Over the Easter weekend, Steve Irwin's eight year old son, Robert, fed some American alligators in Queensland.

In front of 200 people!!!!

Steve used to hold his baybay while feeding crocs and gators, so this kid isn't worried.

Be careful though!

The Sea Shepherd has a fleet of several ships, and one of them has been seriously damaged by a giant rogue wave.

It seems pretty serious and the rescue is still under way.

The Brigitte Bardot, the ship that was damaged, issued a distress signal.

“Steve Irwin responds to a distress call issued by the Brigitte Bardot. Brigitte Bardot was very seriously damaged by a powerful wave which has cracked the bow and the pontoon.

The Steve Irwin reported that they are currently facing the storm to reach the position of Brigitte Bardot, some 240 nautical miles South West. It will be on-site in approximately 20 hours.

The Steve Irwin and will ensure the safety of the crew and then plans to escort the ship damaged in Fremantle for repairs.”

The Steve Irwin is another ship in the Sea Shepherd fleet and it is on its way to rescue the damaged ship.

The entire crew of the Brigitte Bardot is in our thoughts, and we hope for a speedy and successful rescue.

Oklahoma Woman Needs Her Kangaroo

service Kangaroo

An Oklahoma woman suffering from depression has found solace in the company of an unusual companion, but local city officials worry that the therapy pet – a partially paralyzed kangaroo – could become a public safety risk.

Christie Carr is seeking an exemption to keep Irwin, a 25-pound great red kangaroo that she cares for much like a child.

Irwin rides in a car seat, is dressed in a shirt and pants each day and is rarely away from his doting caretaker.

At the advice of her therapist, Carr began volunteering at a local animal sanctuary, where she met Irwin, then just a baby. Less than a week later, the kangaroo named for famed Australian animal expert Steve Irwin ran into a fence, fracturing his neck and causing severe brain damage.

Carr volunteered to take the animal home and, while nursing him back to health, developed a bond.

Carr is totally dependent on Irwin,

"Irwin will not live if I have to give him up. I can't imagine a day living without him."

We hope they get to stay together too!

They got a special performance from the late Crocodile Hunter's family and mingled with his widow Terri and kids, Bindi and Robert.

Looks like fun!

Her family almost fills up all of the seats it looks like.

Enjoy the rest of Australia, Kate!

Steve Irwin's Wife Terri Breaks Down While Paying Tribute To Her Husband On Oprah

Filed under: Oprah Winfrey50 CentSad Sad

Steve Irwins family remembers him on Oprah

So sad!

While appearing on Oprah Winfrey's two-day star-studded Australian extravaganza, Steve Irwin's wife Terri and children Bindi and Bob appeared on stage to remember the iconic Crocodile Hunter.

Wearing what they called the 'family colours,' the trio were accompanied by two giant pythons, but what really hit home for Terri was her son Bob telling Oprah he watches videos of his father every day.

'It's so good because it's like he's actually there,' he said.

Terri couldn't keep her emotions inside after hearing that and shared one of the sweetest things we've ever heard as her eyes filled with tears:

"I think the best thing about Australia is mate ship. Living with Steve was like standing in a cyclone, then we lost him. It was like the wind stopped."

We just want to give Terri and her kids a big hug!

Thanks for being so brave and getting on stage, even in such an emotionally vulnerable state to remember the great Crocodile Hunter, whom we all still miss!
