Steve Nash is in a nasty legal battle right now, as he's trying to stop his wife and kids moving any closer to him from Arizona. His ex thinks he's just trying to duck child support.

Seems like an awful thing to do, right? Well, he claims he might be traded, so he doesn't want to keep uprooting them!

That's why they're in court, so this argument can get settled!

This has led to some speculation that he might be thinking about retiring — he IS 39, after all! But guess what! He swore under penalty of perjury that he has NO INTENTION of retiring from basketball any time soon!

It wouldn't be the first time someone lied under oath, though, but we're willing to bet it's true! We just wish he wanted to be much closer to his kids, instead of just thinking the same coast will have to do! Ha!

This Steve Nash business is Nashty business! LOLz!

We told you guys a few months ago that Steve Nash did not want, nor thought he should have to, pay child support in addition to the things he was already required to cover (like a huge percentage of medical bills and schooling tuition) because not only was he paying for that stuff, his ex makes around $30k A MONTH and their divorce earned her millions from him!

Now, she's STILL trying to move to El Lay, and Steve is doing his best to ban her from ever doing that!

Here comes the DRAMz!

Late last year, we learned that Steve Nash did NOT want his ex-wife, Alejandra to move their three children to El Lay from Arizona, even though he was ecstatic to be playing for the Lakers because he could be closer to his kids, and now, the basketball star is making it clearer as to why he doesn't want his kiddies to go to Cali!!

Back in 2010, the couple announced that they were dissolving their marriage, and after the judge who handled their divorce decided not to grant Alejandra any child support, Nash's former lovah is now appealing that ruling because she wants more money.

Even though the El Lay Lakers got DESTROYED by the San Antonio Spurs last night, celebs still attended the game to show their support!!

Unfortunately for the Lakers, their season was ended by the Spurs as they were swept in the first-round Western Conference playoffs at the Staples Center, and even though the purple and gold team lost, at least their last game was filled with stars.

Steve Nash, LA Lakers star, originally was so happy to join the team because he could be so much closer to his kids.

So it's weird that he's in a custody battle in court, trying to keep his kids from moving from Arizona to Cali!

Feels nice out here, right? Ha!

Phoenix Suns' president and CEO Rick Welts has revealed that he is gay, making him the highest ranking official in the sports world to do so.

In an interview with the New York Times, Welts said:

"This is one of the last industries where the subject is off limits. Nobody's comfortable in engaging in a conversation."

Unfortunately, his statement rings true, considering not a single active professional athlete has come out of the closet, but with so much support emerging from players and officials we don't think it will be off limits for much longer.

Before discussing his sexual orientation with the media, Welts spoke with NBA commissioner David Stern, WNBA president Val Ackerman, Hall of Famer Bill Russell and Suns guard Steve Nash, all of which gave him overwhelming support.

Nash was actually surprised by Welts admission, not because he was gay, but because he thought everyone already knew Welts was gay! Regardless, Nash admits it's time to take this taboo off of the table, saying:

"I think it's a shame, for all the obvious reasons, that this is a leap that he has to take. Anyone who's not ready for this needs to catch up. … He's doing anyone who's not ready for this a favor."

Absolutely! It's 2011 and if you're still shocked by homosexuality, you've been trapped in something smaller than a closet.

Rick Welts truly is an inspiration for both the sports and LGBT communities. We hope his courage will give others the strength to be honest with the world and be proud of who they are.
