After a nasty mess over Joe Francis' gambling debts and his threats to expose Steve Wynn's "high-end deception," Joe has lost the defamation lawsuit filed by the Vegas mogul.

Joe was sued after he promised to reveal the ways Steve deceived all of his high rollers. But Joe had also sued Steve for "ruining his reputation" over the gambling debt "exaggerations."

So even though the Girls Gone Wild kind just lost 7.5 million in this lawsuit, his lawyer says that's nothing compared to what Steve's about to lose:

To recap, back in 2009, casino boss Steve Wynn filed a lawsuit against Joe Francis over $2 million of gambling debts.

Then in February, we heard that Joe hadn't paid the debt, and he was ordered to stand trial against criminal charges of Felony theft and fraud.

Now, we're hearing that JOE is finally going to pay up is filing a lawsuit against STEVE for "wrecking his reputation," and he's seeking "an unspecified amount of damages."

Ugh. Just pay your debt, Joe! This lawsuit is absurd!

Sounds like someone has a real problem.

Back in 2009, Steve Wynn sued Girls Gone Wild exec Joe Francis for over $2 million, claiming that Joe owed that much in gambling debts. Steve won the case and Joe was ordered to pay up.

Fast forward to two years later and Steve hasn't seen a red cent from Joe. So, he's kicking things up a notch.

Though Joe maintains he was offered a discount on his losses, because he refused to pay his debt, a Vegas grand jury has ordered Joe to stand trial against two criminal charges: Felony theft and fraud.

If he is found guilty, he faces up to four years in prison.

But Joe doesn't sound too worried. After all, he has evaded going to prison before. He's told sources:

"I'm 100% confident that I will prevail, just like I always do. Steve Wynn has enormous influence over the politicians in the Las Vegas area … so I'm sure he's behind this. The moral of the story is don't gamble at the Wynn casinos or this could happen to you."
