Tisk, tisk, JJ Abrams! You've made a career out of keeping your projects super secretive, and now look what you've done!
The Lost and Alias mastermind teamed with writer Josh Reims for their new television show, Undercovers - set to air on NBC in the fall - and somehow, someone involved let the secret pilot spec leak onto the net!
Warner Bros, of course, quickly pulled it down everywhere they could - but not quickly enough!
WARNING: SPOILER ALERT!!!!
The script is preceded by this note:
"The pace of this series is intended to be unusually, almost unspeakably, fast. Sure we won't deny the script is long. But that's only if you judge by something as arbitrary as page numbers. So when reading the script, assuming you get past this page, whether it's an action sequence or just two people speaking, imagine scenes moving lighting fast. Then imagine them just the slightest bit faster. This will hopefully give you a sense of what we're going for."
Hmm. Okie doke. So the show, which is apparently a visual assault to the senses, will follow a married couple who happen to be retired secret service agents, Steven and Samantha, who are commissioned by a colleague named Carlton Shaw to help assist him in rescuing another old friend, Leo Nash, from an arms and drug dealer. They travel around the world, get into throw-down, kick-ass fights, and save the day! Of course, by the end of the pilot, they're back doing their old job and love each other more than ever!
We suppose we won't be able to assess its watchablility until it premieres, but sounds like pretty standard Abrams fare - post-Alias meets Mr. & Mrs. Smith!
What do U think?? Will U watch Undercovers??
