The Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark curse strikes again!

The latest victim is Matthew James Thomas, who plays Peter Parker twice a week for Reeve Carney, and reportedly sustained an unspecified injury during a scene transition backstage at the beginning of the play's second act during a matinee yesterday! He was hospitalized, and received ten stitches!

And luckily, Carney was available to fill in for Thomas for the remainder of the show!

We're glad to hear he's doing all right!

Yesterday, we heard that Steven Tyler was rushed to the hospital after he had a "nasty fall" in his hotel shower in Paraguay.

Now, we've learned that Steven is in good condition after his hospital visit, where he "received stitches and had emergency dental work done."

Sounds like he's actually doing VERY well, because the Aerosmith concert that was scheduled for last night in Paraguay is taking place tonight!

Good luck, Steven! Be sure to take it at least somewhat easy tonight!

Remember that guy from Hustle & Flow? DJ Qualls?

Well according to him, the Vancouver police beat the crap out of him!!!

Early this morning, he tweeted his story, claiming he tried to help a police officer ID an attacker he witnessed in a street fight. But then he found himself in a one-sided street fight himself!

Yikes!

He tweets:

Before it hit the news, just got out of the ER, Was beaten by a Vancouver police officer for no reason. Got stitches and released.

Was not arrested because innocent. Was handcuffed and bleeding while the cop kept saying to me, "You think you're f***ing better than me?"

Repeatedly asked for his badge number. Said if I didn't shut up, he'd take me in. Finally got a card while I was taken to the hospital.

OUCH!!!

When you take this up with internal affairs, we hope that cop gets fired! And they better pay for your stitches since you had to pay $800 for them!

This is so messed up! WHAT is going on with all the corruption!?!

Snitches Skateboarders get stitches!

Lil Wayne had to get 9 stitches after a skateboarding accident, unfortunately.

Lil Wayne received nine stitches at St. Louis' DePaul Health Center after a skateboarding accident, presumably following his show at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in the Arch City Sunday night.

"The Lou was good," the rap superstar tweeted early Monday, "but I busted my fuggin head at the sk8park! 9stitches! Gnarly gash over my left eye! Luv the people"

Gotta be more careful, Weezy! Feel better soon!

Oh, and we hope the new album does well!

But he's okay!

Retired Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana received several stitches to sew up a gash above his eye after he was involved in an ATV crash while riding at his Northern California ranch over the weekend.

Luckily, the legendary San Francisco 49er's QB was not seriously injured.

However, the accident required him to skip an appearance in front of the Santa Clara City Council, during which he was to discuss plans to build a new hotel, restaurant, and sports bars near the proposed new 49ers stadium.

Bummer!

Injuries stink, but we're glad it's nothing too serious. Feel better, Joe!

Oh no! Poor poor thing!

Samantha Ronson had to be taken to the hospital on Saturday morning when she was hit by a car trying to ride her bike home after a gig in Venice!

Sources close to the DJ revealed that when she had finished performing at a bar called The Brig she fell off a bike trying to avoid a car! Luckily, she only needed a few stitches, but as you can see from the pic she posted on her Twitter (above), she's seriously banged up!

So scary! Feel better, gurl!

Vanilla Ice lost his balance on his own last name!

During a rehearsal for Dancing on Ice, Vanilla Ice slipped and smashed his head on the ice.

Said a soure:

“There was lots of blood and an ambulance called. He has a big lift in his show this week and put too much energy into the routine and fell. The hospital kept him in for most of the afternoon and put stitches above his eye. He's also hurt his ankle and it may affect his skating at the weekend.”

Oh no! Heal up, Vanilla! The show needs you!
