Woman Tries To Ward Away Tornado Through Prayer!

Given the fact that 36 people have been confirmed dead due to this recent wave of tornadoes, we'd say it'd be worth trying ANYTHING to fight against these storms!

Check out the video (above) of a woman near West Liberty, Kentucky trying to ward away a tornado through prayer.

According to CNN, the praying woman and her friend who shot the footage both survived the storm.

We're very glad to hear that these two are all right!

Our thoughts are with everyone who have been affected by these horrendous tornados.

Seal Pups Injured In UK Storms

Some huge storms have been battering the UK and about 60 young seal pups have been caught in the crossfire.

The storms just happened to come at the same time that the pups were left alone by their mothers.

The seals would normally learn how to swim and grow stronger on their own, but not in these ridiculous storms.

The seals are now being cared for by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA).

A worker at the RSPCA said:

"There have been about four coming in a day since the wind started, most of them just unable to deal with the conditions out there.

It would be incredibly hard work for the inexperienced swimmer to navigate such waters, and many of them just couldn't cope and were found floundering on beaches or rocks."

Four different RSPCA centers have taken in the poor baby seals.

The storms have actually produced wind speeds of 112mph!

It's just good to know that someone has the seals' backs.

Move Over, Irene! It's Katia's turn!

Hurricane Katia Irene

Just as Irene is giving her final bow, another diva is getting ready to steal the show.

Tropical Storm Katia is well on her way to becoming a full fledged hurricane bitch!

She's already at a speed of 60mph, heading west at 20mph.

Katia is predicted to wreak havoc northeast of the Caribbean's northern Leeward Islands by Sunday, but will it say hello to America?

FOX Pulls Family Guy, American Dad, and Cleveland Show Hurricane Themed Episodes

Family Guy Offensive

Smart move, FOX!

Due to the tragic storms that swept through six southern states, killing almost 300 people, FOX has pulled Sunday night's planned cross-over episodes of Family Guy, American Dad, and The Cleveland Show which see a hurricane come to town.

Replacing the new episodes with repeats, the crossover event will instead air next spring with the remainder of the season's episodes for each respective series continuing to air as planned.

The epic hurricane episodes were written 18 months ago and were called an "enormous challenge" by Seth MacFarlane.

That's a bummer fans will have to wait another year to see these episodes, but given the horrible circumstances, we think the network made a good choice.

Are U glad that the stormy episodes won't air this week?

Tornadoes And Storms Cause Devastation In Six States

Filed under: Barack ObamaSad SadMichelle Obama

Very upsetting.

Tornadoes (above) and massive storms have been causing devastation throughout six U.S. states, including Alabama, Virginia, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, and Arkansas.

According to reports, as many as 231 people have died due to these horrific storms and tornadoes.

Here's what President Barack Obama said about these storms/tornadoes last night:

"While we may not know the extent of the damage for days, we will continue to monitor these severe storms across the country and stand ready to continue to help the people of Alabama and all citizens affected by these storms."

"Michelle and I extend our deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives because of the tornadoes that have swept through Alabama and the southeastern United States."

Such a tragedy.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who's being affected by these storms and tornadoes. Stay strong.
