Julianne Hough Is NOT Returning To DWTS' Judges Table Next Season!

Julianne won't be back to judge!!!

This better be so she can do more live musical adaptations!

On Wednesday, we learned that Julianne Hough will not be returning to judge Dancing with the Stars next season! The blonde beauty had been serving on the panel for the past three seasons, but now it seems she's ready for a break.

But producer Rob Wade says this goodbye might not be a permanent one, explaining:

This is fantastic!

Back in August we were saddened when it was announced that Dancing With The Stars judge Len Goodman would be taking a break from the show to focus on Strictly Come Dancing — the British version of the show that he is also on.

Don't get us wrong, this season has been great! We loved the idea of having guest judges like Alfonso Ribeiro and Olivia Newton-John, but the show just doesn't quite seem the same without the dapper Englishman.

Well on last night's EPIC season finale filled with everything from an Elle King performance to Kim Zolciak-Biermann returning, Len made a special announcement that he was coming back!

Julianne Hough Will Return To DWTS As A Guest Judge!

julianne hough returns to dancing with the stars as a guest judge

For while, we were starting to think Julianne Hough would NEVER return to Dancing With The Stars!

But it turns out we thought wrong!

Julianne will be returning on tonight's episode of DWTS, but she wont be brining her dancing shoes with her.

Instead, she will be sitting at the judges table as she fills in for Len Goodman for the week!

Unfortunately, it will only be a temporary move as he flies across the pond to shoot Strictly Come Dancing, but we're still definitely excited to see her back where she belongs!

Besides, maybe if it goes well she'll go from a guest judge to a more permanent judge! Hey, we can dream, can't we??

X Factor Ratings Are Hurting In The UK!

x factor uk ratings are down

Just when things seemed to be turning around for the show in the US…

For the first time in FOUR YEARS, BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing beat the UK version of X Factor in the ratings! Ouchie!

The Saturday night Halloween-themed broadcast of Strictly brought in an average audience of 10.1 million viewers, which was one million MORE than X Factor! Ouchie X2!

Here's what a source close to Simon Cowell had to say about it:

"Simon says it’s good to have some healthy competition. He says 'good on the BBC, well done.'"

And here's what a spokesman for the BBC had to say about it:

"We are delighted that more and more viewers keep tuning in to watch Strictly Come Dancing and that our Halloween spectacular was the most watched programme of the evening by far."

Should be interesting to see if Simon will be able to bring those UK X Factor ratings back up. Hopefully he's able to think of something quick!

Good luck!

Who Will Be Replacing Simon And Chezza On The UK X Factor?

Filed under: Simon CowellGirls AloudCherylTake ThatX FactorReality TV

gary-barlow-and-alesha-dixon-in-talks-to-replace-simon-cowell-and-cheryl-cole-on-x-factor-judges-panel

Wow! Not bad replacements, considering the show will be losing TWO huge assets!

Now that Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell have both left the UK X Factor in order to participate in the judges panel on the US edition, there has been just as much strife across the pond behind the scenes of the reality competition, as producers have scrambled to find two new panelists that can successfully fill the void left by the reality honcho and the former Girls Aloud singer!

However, today, Cowell announced that none other than Take That singer Gary Barlow was in advanced negotiations to take his spot, while reports surfaced that Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon would fill Chezza's!

Cowell revealed:

"Gary Barlow is the first person confirmed."

And a source close to Dixon explains:

'He [Cowell] has spent weeks handpicking the right people - he's a perfectionist who changes his mind by the hour. There have been heated debates and disagreements almost every day between Cowell, ITV and senior executives over who they need to sign up to give it some stardust. Alesha is ecstatic. She never thought in a million years that she would be asked. But talks have been on for weeks and have been going well. She has had meeting with producers and realises it’s her dream job – an offer she can’t refuse. She’d be sad to turn her back on Strictly, but X Factor is in a completely different league.'

Meanwhile, an X Factor spokesperson says:

‘The panel for the UK will be announced in due course.'

Wow! Well - if this pans out the way it did stateside, then we think we pretty much have our new judges!

Here's hoping BOTH new teams will have as much success as the former!

Our fingers are crossed!

What do U think?? Who do you want to see take over for Simon and Chezza??
