Celebs React To The Shocking Video Of A Police Officer Violently Arresting A Student In A Classroom!

This is crazy!

In case you haven't seen it yet, a disturbing video (below) showing a South Carolina school officer violently arresting a student at Spring Valley High School has gone viral.

The resource officer — identified by students as Ben Fields — was recorded on Monday seemingly choking the student, slamming her to the ground, and dragging her across the classroom floor while placing her under arrest!

Spring Valley student Aaron Johnson, who was allegedly present in the class at the time of the assault, said that the girl was asked by their teacher to leave the classroom and go to the discipline office.

When she ignored the teacher and an administrator and refused to get out of her seat, the resource officer was called in and asked her if "she was gonna go or if he had to make her go."

Johnson explained what happened next, saying:

Paris Train Hero & UCC Alum Alek Skarlatos Reacts To The Oregon Mass Shooting!

We are at a total loss for words!

As we reported, a shooter now identified as Chris Harper Mercer claimed the lives of at least ten students at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, OR on Thursday morning.

Well it has now come to light that UCC has a famous alum who was instrumental in preventing a similar tragedy.

Alek Skarlatos rose to fame when he helped stopped an alleged terrorist attack on a Paris train in August.

The Dancing With The Stars contestant released a statement explaining his personal connection to the massacre.

The 22-year-old said:

14-Year-Old Muslim Student Arrested For Bringing A Clock To School — Because His Teacher Thought It Was A Bomb!

This is horrible!

This week, Ahmed Mohamed was arrested by Texas police for bringing a homemade clock to school — because teachers thought it looked like a bomb!

According to reports, the 14-year-old student was suspended from Irving McArthur High School and taken to a juvenile detention center after his English teacher noticed the clock and immediately reported the student to the police!

Though the 9th grader explained that he made a clock and only brought it to school to show his engineering teacher. He recalled:

Julianne Moore Is Petitioning To Change The Name Of Her High School Honoring A Confederate General!

Julianne Moore is putting her foot down!

Recently, the actress — along with friend and producer Bruce Cohen — created a change.org petition to rename their alma mater — J.E.B. Stuart High School — in Fairfax County, VA.

The school — founded in 1959 — was named after the Confederate general who fought to keep African Americans enslaved.

According to their petition, which has already racked up over 29,000 signatures:

"No one should have to apologize for the name of the public high school you attended and the history of racism it represents, as we and so many alumni of Stuart have felt the need to do our whole lives."

The moniker is only made worse by the school's symbol: an image of Stuart waving the Confederate flag atop a horse.

Instead, the Oscar winner believes her education center should be named after civil rights leader and Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.

In a statement, she exclaimed:

Another summer is coming to an end, and parents everywhere are getting excited to go back-to-school shopping and get their kids out of the house!

But for first time students, the concept of leaving your home everyday to be taught by a stranger can be a bit daunting!

KTLA reporter Courtney Friel was reminded how overwhelming first time education can be when she asked Andrew Macias if he was excited for his first day of kindergarten!

The 4-year-old was initially enthusiastic about the new opportunity of starting out at City Terrace Elementary School.

But after the reporter asked if he was going to miss his mom, the brand new kindergartener was faced with a harsh reality check — and started crying!
