Subway has been in hot water ever since people started realizing that their "footlong" subs are often only 11 inches or less!

Hopping on the "let's sue their asses for false advertising" bandwagon, many people have been suing their asses for false advertising! LOLz!

Subway has been feeling the heat and has decided to stop being defensive, apologize and make sure from now on, all sandwiches are a full 12 inches.

They released a statement that said:

We previously mentioned that Subway is coming under fire for its footlong subs not always measuring 12 inches.

There are even two men in New Jersey who are suing Subway!

We were wondering what would happen if the flood gates opened and the lawsuits started pouring in… and now it looks like it may be happening after all.

JK! Folks do kinda have a point. It's basically false advertising when a "footlong" sandwich is only 11 inches.

Whoa! This is amazing!

When an off-duty police officer sees a woman fall off the subway platform just moments before the train comes, he does what no one else will!

Subway, you need to check yoself!

Last week, we reported about a new movement of Subway customers that are pissed that their footlong subs were NOT twelve inches long, therefore not a 'footlong'. They're upset and feel like they're getting a raw deal.

We also let you know that Subway responded like this:

"Our bread is freshly baked daily in each of the over 38,000 Subway restaurants worldwide. We are committed to providing a consistent product, delivering the same amount of bread to the customer with every order. The length, however, may vary slightly when not baked to our exact specifications. We are reinforcing our policies and procedures in an effort to ensure our offerings are always consistent no matter which Subway restaurant you visit."

Turns out, Subway's ORIGINAL response was a little more bullshizzy — check it out:

Subway has come under fire after an Australian man posted a picture on the company's Facebook page.

The infamous picture, which is no longer available on their page, had a picture of a Subway "footlong" sub next to a tape measure.

It was only 11 inches.

The entire world was outraged and widespread rioting ensued.

JK obvi! But it was a big enough deal that Subway actually responded in a statement that said:

This is equal parts sad, gross, and cray!

A man earlier this week was killed by a subway train, while a second man was injured nearby. They're unrelated except for their proximity, luckily. The man who died though, was trying to poop through the crack where two subway cars meet.

Need a moment for that to sink in? Take some time.

Okay, so there he was trying to pinch one off, and we all know it's never safe to even cross between cars, so he slipped and fell and was struck by the train. That's no way for anyone to go out, seriously.

The other man we mentioned was bloodied and had a broken pelvis — and he emerged from the tracks at the 125th Street station just before the fatal accident. He says he doesn't know what happened to him.

We wonder what's going on with this string of awful subway fatalities and injuries. Is it time to look into more safety precautions, or is it all just a coincidence??

Also, did this happen during the annual No Pants Subway Ride?? Ha!
