Mother Of Killed Paparazzo In Justin Bieber Incident Suing California Highway Patrol

All so sad…

The mother of a paparazzo that had followed Justin Bieber's Ferrari and been struck and killed by a car in January is alleging that his death was the responsibility of the California Highway Patrol.

Vickie Guerra, mother of the late photographer Chris Guerra, is suing the CHP and the State of California for unspecified damages, claiming that a police officer ordered Chris to unsafely cross a busy street.

As we reported earlier, Chris had been tailing Justin's Ferrari, driven by Lil Twist at the time, when CHP pulled the pair over and wrote Lil Twist a ticket for speeding on the 405.

Then according to Vickie, a CHP officer saw Chris taking some photos and, allegedly using his gun, menacingly signaled the photographer to cross a busy street.

Sadly, Chris then got hit by one car, and run over by a second one.

In addition to this lawsuit, Vickie is also suing the driver that struck Chris.

If what Vickie claims is true, it makes this tragedy even more horrible. No parent should have to bury their child.

In the immortal words of Marvin Gaye, "what's going on?!"

Last week, we reported on how we heard through the grapevine about the impending lawsuit between Robin Thicke, Pharrell, and T.I., and Marvin Gaye's family who claim that Blurred Lines was plagiarized from Marvin's Got to Give it Up!

Now, it's come out that Robin's legal team apparently took the song's advice, and gave it up themselves, offering a 6-figure settlement to the Gaye family.

Thicke was probably like "I know you want it," but the Gaye family rejected it!

Only then did Robin say, "let's get it on" to a lawsuit over whether or not Blurred Lines infringes on Got to Give it Up!

Until the lawsuit is decided one way or another, ch-ch-check out this cool mash-up of the two songs…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Finally, in a recent statement, The Who's Pete Townshend broke the silence after an uproar on Twitter gave way to rumors that 1D's lawyers might hear a Who lawsuit coming their way!
