Titanic 3D Release Date Gets Moved Up!

Seems pretty intense for a mid-week movie, but we MIGHT be up for this!

Back in May, we were excited to hear that Titanic 3D (above) had been set for an April 6th, 2012 release date…just 4 days before the 100 year anniversary of the date when the ill-fated ship set sail on its maiden voyage.

Now, Paramount has announced that they'll be moving up the film's re-release date to Wednesday, April 4th, in an effort to get a head start against the competition, which includes Universal's American Reunion and Summit's The Cold Light Of Day.

What do U think? Will U be up for Titanic on a weeknight???

U.N. Sets Out To Stop Mother-Child HIV Infections

AIDS treatment

The voices of the hopeless may have finally been heard.

Just in time for the 30th anniversary of the discovery of the tragic disease, world leaders at the U.N. AIDS summit have hatched a plan to eliminate anymore HIV infections in newborn children from their infected mother.

Providing HIV-positive pregnant women with treatment can reduce the risk of a child being born with the virus to less than 5 percent, so with that in mind, the campaign aims to reduce the number of child infections 90% by 2015.

The initiative is being led by the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the UNAIDS organization, which said in a statement:

"We believe that by 2015 children everywhere can be born free of HIV and that their mothers can remain healthy."

$500 million a year is currently being dedicated to funding the prevention of mother-child HIV transmission, but the new resolution to begin the end of the disease calls for $2.5 billion more to achieve the goal in 3 years.

We're happy to see that countries all over the world are finally joining for forces and funds to put a stop a disease which has over 9 million people waiting for treatment.

While there is still no cure, amazing leaps in treatment options over the last few years have saved millions and we believe this new initiative will continue that trend.

Don't Listen To R-Patz! Breaking Dawn Will NOT Be Rated R

breaking dawn will be rated pg13

Way to get everyone excited for nothing, Mr. Pattinson!

While promoting his upcoming film Water for Elephants, the topic of the new Twilight movie Breaking Dawn came up, and R-Patz had the following to say about it:

“There’s some interesting and weird stuff going on—really very, very, very strange. It’s great. For a big mainstream movie, it’s the most obscure story line and really outside the box. It’s a horror movie. I’ve seen a few bits, and I just can’t see how it’s going to be PG-13… unless they cut everything out!”

Here's what a Summit spokeswoman had to say with regards to R-Patz's R-rating comment:

Breaking Dawn will be a PG-13. It will not be rated R.”

Ah well. Maybe after Breaking Dawn is released, they'll re-release ALL of the Twilights in theaters with R-rated cuts!

Who wouldn't want to spend an entire Saturday marathon-watching all of the Twilight movies with extra steamy vampire footage?

Best 9 hour date EVER!

Are U disappointed that Breaking Dawn will be PG-13? Would U like to see the Twilight movies re-cut with R-ratings?
