Looks like ANOTHER How I Met Your Mother star will take on the super hero world!

HIMYM's Neil Patrick Harris voiced Spider-Man in the short lived 2003 cartoon series of the same name, and now Cobie Smulders will play S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill in The Avengers.

For those of you who are behind on your comic book knowledge, Agent Hill acts as Nick Fury's "second-in-command" in the Marvel Universe…but of course as we all know, she became FIRST-in-command when Fury was MIA "during the 'Civil War' storyline."

WHAT? That's common knowledge, isn't it???

Congrats on the exciting gig, Cobie! Next, we need to get HIMYM's Jason Segel his first super hero role…unless you count I Love You, Man as a super hero movie…
