Bad news, twin and tennis lovers! Venus Williams has pulled out of Wimbledon!!
That's right, half of the Williams sisters has had to drop out of the Wimbledon Championships because she hurt her lower back. The injury is in addition to having the chronic autoimmune disease Sjogren's syndrome — which is hard enough to deal with. She's one tough woman, but she isn't stupid. We agree that it's a better idea to sit out than fight through!

Chris Kluwe is one of the most high-profile athlete supporters of the LGBT community, and it looks like he's being replaced by a 5th round pick as kicker on the Minnesota Vikings because of it! UGH!
He was part of that team for EIGHT YEARS, and we agree with him that it has something to do with his work for equality — even as a straight married man with kids! He was most recently fighting legislation in Minnesota that would have banned same-sex marriage when he gained a bunch of notoriety for a profanity-lace letter he wrote to Maryland Assembly Delegate Emmett C. Burns that went viral.

Kobe Bryant was one of the first people to tweet out support and respect for Jason Collins' decision to reveal himself as a gay NBA player!
