On Friday, the world will forever say goodbye to the residents of Pine Valley as All My Children takes its final bow on network TV. From there, the show will transition online with new streaming episodes, but so far, the cast hasn't been too receptive to the change.

The days of Erica Kane are numbered and with no future left in Pine Valley for Susan Lucci, girl has to think of her next step. It sounds like it will be a toe-tapper!
According to People Magazine, Susan has begun working with a vocal instructor again now that All My Children is in its final days and she is possibly looking to do a bit of a tour.
In fact, sources reveal that she's even got a few gigs lined up - with Regis Philbin!
So much for retirement!
It took a little digging, but Youtube finally and graciously produced a snippet of Susan's vocal stylings from the Daytime Emmys in 2003! Check it out above (mark 1:20) and see if you think she should pursue a singing career.
Only on a soap opera would this be plausible. Seriously.
As we've previously reported, several actors who got their start on the long-running series All My Children are returning to the series in its final days. So far, Josh Duhamel and Carol Burnett have reprised their roles, but next week, Sarah Michelle Gellar will cameo on the series that helped win her an Emmy.
And it's like no time has passed at all! Marvelous!
Yesterday, Carol Burnett made her triumphant return to All My Children as Verla Grubbs for the last time. A scene stealer as always, Carol will return to the show this afternoon for one final bow as Verla while the show is still on network television.
A gem as always! How marvelous it is to watch two living legends share a screen!
