Eco-friendly designer Yotam Solomon is doing his best to raise awareness about the environment, especially after what happened in the Gulf of Mexico this year.
His upcoming spring collection dubbed "Oil Spill" was inspired by the devastating BP oil spill, which he believes is "a major event in our decade and even century".
The 2011 collection includes a variety of heels, dresses and chic separates. Solomon has also pledged to donate a portion of sales to the Defenders of Wildlife and Natural Resources Defense Council for all the work they did in the Gulf.
What do U think of Yotam's collection???

We love it when companies get eco-friendly!
Puma has decided to ditch the traditional shoe box and will now be selling their kicks in a reusable bag.
The company is calling these new carriers the "Clever Little Bag" and will be wrapped in cardboard frames.
The shoe brand says they spent 21 months coming up with the sustainable idea that will cut costs on resources used to make them.
Not a bad idea!
Maybe other companies will follow in their footsteps!
