Last night, sources spotted Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal having dinner at a restaurant near Swift's Nashville condo. A patron reveals they were led back to a private table for two and seemed "cordial to one another, but not affectionate."

Hmm. Wonder what this is all about. Maybe Swifty wanted to give him a piece of her mind about possibly dating Camille Belle…or Mila Kunis…or Jenny Lewis.

Girl, he's gotten AROUND since you two broke up. Don't get back together with him! Just write a song about it and moooove on!

We're still so sad to report that Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal are no longer an item. We really thought they were so cute together, but apparently, one half of the duo didn't agree.

Details behind the couples abrupt end are finally coming to light and sources are reporting it was Jake who ended things between them. We hear that their brief romance was becoming too much for Jake to handle, as he began to resent all the attention from the media. A source close to the pair explains:

"Jake reached out to her and started all of this, but now he’s not acting as interested. He said he wasn't feeling it anymore and was uncomfortable with all the attention they got. He also said he could feel the age difference. Taylor is really upset. We told her not to move so fast with this but she didn't listen."

Another insider close to Jake added:

"Jake cares about her, but [the publicity] was a lot for him. He wants to keep his private life private, and that’s hard to do dating Taylor."

Aw, poor Swifty! Another broken heart that needs mending!

Just poor it all out into your music, bb! Nothing helps mend the sadness like another #1 album.

Who knew??

Seems Gwyneth Paltrow was the one to introduce Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift to each other.

Before the couple came out as a couple on Thanksgiving, Gwynnie hosted a dinner party at her London home, bringing the two together.

A source confirmed that "Gwyneth seems to have played a role in their relationship," which comes as a bit of a surprise to us!

All we have to say is: Thanks, Gwyneth!

Jake Gyllenhaal is NOT happy with paparazzi…and we're sure they're not happy with him either.

While Jake was driving with Taylor Swift around Beverly Hills, he became infuriated with paparazzi trying to take their photos, so he called the cops on them.

LAPD reportedly sent over unnecessary amounts of support on the ground AND in the air!

Yep. They sent over a helicopter, because apparently they couldn't think of a more productive usage of a helicopter at that time.

Here's what an x17 photographer who was on the scene had to say about the situation:

“I don’t know why Jake was in such a bad mood. We saw him and Taylor in the car and when we tried to see where they would park to get out, Jake went crazy. It’s like he didn’t want anyone to get a shot of him and Taylor together. I mean if he’s going to do set-up shots with the paps like he did last week, what’s the difference?!”

We hope you didn't get too bent out of shape, Jake! We understand it's frustrating, but there are worse things in life! Just be happy that you get to spend the day driving through Beverly Hills with the beautiful T-Swizzle!

Laughter and coffee! It's a match made in heaven!

Here's a peek of the Us Weekly article that features the blossoming romance between Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal, or as we like to call them, Swiftenhaal!

The magazine shows the couple having the time of their lives, enjoying each other's company, all while visiting coffee shops in Taylor's hometown of Nashville. The two even traveled to New York to visit Jake's sister Maggie Gyllenhaal, where Taylor is pictured having a play date with Jake's niece, Ramona.

Wow, maybe things are suddenly getting "serious!"
