Things aren't getting any easier for Ryan Lochte even as the media chaos from his summer in Rio has died down.

The Olympic swimming star may have gotten out of Brazil without facing jail time, but his lawyers are still working on trying to get his pending charges in the robbery-turned-vandalism case dismissed… and they are having little success.

This week, a judge in the Brazilian Court of Justice denied the Lochte team's request to dismiss his criminal case, and in doing so, also transferred the case to an even higher court!

Is this whole #LochteGate thing not over yet?!

Earlier this week, Ryan Lochte's Rio Olympics controversy came up again when protesters stormed the stage of Dancing With The Stars right after the 32-year-old's performance!

Since the incident, footage has come out of the event, the two men revealed the reasons for their actions, and Ryan's dancing partner Cheryl Burke came to the swimmer's defense — but the gold medal winner had stayed quiet.

Until Wednesday that is, when the studly athlete took to Twitter to break his silence and thank everyone from friends and family to fans for the tremendous amount of support he's apparently received!

On Monday, after the disgraced Olympian performed his routine with Cheryl Burke on the premiere of Dancing With The Stars, two men stormed the stage just as judge Carrie Ann Inaba was giving her critique. Luckily, they were tackled by security before anything serious occurred.

Ryan Lochte better hang on to his Dancing With the Stars gig for dear life!

As we previously reported, the U.S. Olympic Committee officially suspended Ryan for 10 months on Wednesday. The punishment — which some members of the committee felt was too harsh — was handed down about a month after Lochte lied about a robbery in Rio.

While initial reports suggested Ryan could still swim under the suspension, TMZ is now alleging the scandalized athlete will NOT be allowed to compete in any meets for the duration of his sentence — including the pivotal National Championships, which could jeopardize his chance at the 2020 Summer Olympics!

Ryan Lochte Has 'No Comment' On His 10-Month Suspension — But He Will Talk Dancing With The Stars!

That's one way to address it!

As you're probably WELL aware, U.S. Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte got into a bit of trouble this summer when he lied to Rio police about being robbed, and on Wednesday night the athlete's punishment finally came out!

While we're sure everyone has different opinions on Ryan being suspended for 10 months by the U.S. Olympic Committeefour more months than Michael Phelps got for his two DUIs — we're really only interested in the swimmer's thoughts!
