Wow, what a shock.
In an interview with People Magazine, Black Eyed Peas member Taboo revealed he was diagnosed with stage two testicular cancer in June of 2014 after visiting a hospital for abdominal and back pain.
What's scary is, the star (whose real name is Jaime Luis Gomez) initially put off the doctor's appointment due to his busy schedule, revealing:
"It all started with a pain in my back and abdomen. I was so busy working that I wasn't worried about it, but I went to the emergency room to get checked out."
Wow. We're SO relieved Jaime didn't wait a second longer to seek help.
Following the heartbreaking diagnosis, the rapper's bandmate will.i.am got him in touch with an EXCELLENT doctor who immediately got him started on an "intense" and "aggressive" chemotherapy. The star also had to have his "mothership" removed.
