Houston Zoo just got a brand new baby!!

Yao is a 139-pound male Masai Giraffe that was just born to 5-year-old mom Neema and 6-year-old dad Mtembei.

They must be so proud of the not-so-little guy!

He's already 74-inches tall! That's 6'2"!!

So his name makes too much sense. He's called Yao after basketballer Yao Ming!

Yao is all about conservation and saving animals so we bet he's honored to have the new baybay named after him.

The baby made it's public debut last Saturday and now joins the other 8 giraffe guests at the zoo.

He's just so friggin cute we don't know what to do!!

Congrats on the new baby!

Unfortunately for science and super villains everywhere, this doesn't mean that someone has invented a shrink ray (we're so close, though!), but rather Liza Minnelli has revealed that having had hip surgery… well, it's left her two inches shorter!

That's cray!!

She revealed all this when she was promoting the 40th anniversary Blu-ray DVD release of her iconic film Cabaret! Here's what she said:

Maria Sharapova was spotted yesterday at Citywalk in Universal City.

She sure is looking good! We forgot how crazy tall she is!

At 6'2" it's no wonder she's such a tennis star!

Josh Duhamel put his sweatiest foot forward as he left the gym in El Lay on Wednesday morning.

The gorgeous 6' 3" actor towered over the crowd as he made his way home in drenched gym attire.

It was a tad bit nippily out in Los Angeles today so that might explain the material stretching thin over his left pec. Ha!

Yeah…we see your nipple, Josh. Might as well just take the whole shirt off for us too!

A new study is showing a link between taller women and a high chance of getting one of ten different cancers. Which sucks, because it isn't like you can do anything about how tall you are.

Researchers followed 1.3 million middle-aged women in the United Kingdom for several years, and found the risk of cancer increased by about 16% for every 4 inches or 10 centimeters of increased height.

Last we heard from Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley, we were pleased to see how well he was getting along with his ex-wife Avril Lavigne.

While the two have remained close friends, it appears that Deryck has moved on romantically, as the singer was spotted holding hands with his new lady friend (above) while headed to El Lay's Roosevelt Hotel last night.
