Woman Shares Graphic Selfie After Skin Cancer Treatment To Warn About The Dangers Of Tanning — See It HERE!
It's already been proven that too much sun exposure can lead to skin cancer, but one woman shared her horrifying story to warn people how dangerous tanning beds can actually be.
In April, Tawny Willoughby shared a picture on her Facebook of the potential disturbing effects of undergoing skin cancer treatment. The photo has since been shared by almost 60,000 people.
According to her post, the now 27-year-old did the majority of her tanning when she was in high school, laying in a tanning bed an average of four to five times a week.
At age 21, she was first diagnosed with skin cancer. Over the past six years, she has been diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma five times and squamous cell carcinoma once.
Every six to 12 months, the registered Alabama nurse and mother has a dermatologist appointment and usually has a skin cancer removal during each check up.
