Maybe he should be leaving on the midnight train out of Georgia!
If the rapper who sang The World is Yours and If I Ruled the World wielded as much power as his lyrics suggested, taxes wouldn't be a concern!
Unfortunately for Nas, the world is NOT his and taxes are a concern!
The Georgia Department of Revenue says the musician owes the state over $1 million in back taxes, and they're garnishing his wages on his upcoming Live Nation tour to obtain them!!
Holy guacamole, that's mucho dinero!

If you thought you saw an awful lot of Nicolas Cage in movies over the past year or two, you're not crazy!
Nic is working harder than ever to pay off his back taxes. And the work is paying off! Nic just paid off a $600,000 tax lien! That's on top of the $6 million lien he paid last year!
So how much does the Kick-Ass star still owe?
Just six million dollars more, and Nic Cage will finally be out of his debt prison.
And if Million Dollar Prison sounds like a great idea for a movie to you, well, just call and get Nicolas Cage to star! It's an offer he can't refuse!

Welp! Nobody can say they're not tryin!
After Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne realized they had a massive tax mess, they started cleaning it up immediately!
And now the couple has paid off $718,948.25 in taxes for 2008. Thanks, America's Got Talent! ;)
Unfortunately, they're apparently still behind — $1,381,245.65 behind for 2007 and 2009.
But we have a feeling they'll get it taken care of. Sharon doesn't play around!!

Ouch! The money troubles continue!
Former Jay-Z bestie and Roc-A-Fella Records company co-founder Damon Dash is in serious debt, and according to a lax lien filed last month, owes more than $3 million in back taxes!

Maybe now Nicolas Cage won’t have to do paycheck movies like Bangkok Dangerous.
Nicolas Cage has finally settled his lawsuit with his former accountant, Sam Levin, who Cage blames for his disastrous financial situation.
Cage has accused Levin of making poor investments on his behalf, which cost him millions of dollars, and put him $14 million in tax debt. Levin countersued Cage, and called him a spendthrift for spending millions upon millions of dollars on cars and houses.
No word at this time about any specific details of the outcome, but a source has said that Cage is happy it’s resolved.
Fingers crossed that Nicolas Cage’s financial situation gets much better quickly. It would be wonderful if he could move on, so we could all leave movies he did out of necessity, like Next and The Wicker Man, in the past where they belong.
