There's no evading this order!
Prosecutors will finally get their day in court with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana after a judge in Milan gave the go ahead to try the designers for not declaring taxes on over $1.25 BILLION in revenue.
As we mentioned last year, a judge cleared the duo of all charges in April, but was ultimately overturned in November after prosecutors appealed the decision.
So far there's no date set for a trial, but after Stefano's innocent tweet on Friday, it sounds like settling out of court isn't going to be an option.
Buona fortuna, ragazzi!

Good news for Dolce & Gabbana!
An Italian judge officially cleared the two of tax evasion charges on Friday.
Judge Simone Luerti ruled there's no foundation for a trial, which means the designing duo won't face criminal charges or the jail time that came with it.
Luerti also cleared Dolce’s brother and board member Alfonso Dolce, managing director and board member Cristiana Ruella, and company managers Giuseppe Minoni, and Antoine Noella.
Nice way to start the weekend.

An Italian judge has yet to decide if Dolce & Gabbana will face criminal charges for tax fraud.
Both the prosecution and defense were in court on Friday to hear Judge Simone Luerti's ruling, only to have it postponed until April 1st.
The judge did however, meet with the designer's tax consultant Luciano Patelli in a closed hearing, where he gave deposition testimony.
Stay tuned.

This Friday, Dolce & Gabbana will find out if they will be put on trial for tax evasion.
As we mentioned last year, officials discovered Domenico and Stefano failed to pay taxes on over $1 billion in revenue.
Other designers who have faced tax evasion charges either settle their case or it's thrown out, unfortunately these two might not be so lucky.
The prosecution is seeking a criminal indictment against Dolce & Gabbana for fraud and setting up a fake company. Typically the maximum sentence for fraud is 5 years, but other details specific to the case could tack on another 2 years.
Eek.
And of course the jail time would be on top of repaying the Italian revenue agency and lots of fines.

This past Saturday, members of the activist group UK Uncut staged protests at several Topshop locations to voice their anger at Sir Phillip Green.
The Topshop boss has been accused of tax evasion after he directly paid his wife and owner of the UK retailer's parent company Arcadia Group, over $1 billion. Since Green's wife lives in Monaco, he never had to pay UK taxes on the large sum of money.
One protester vented:
"Philip Green is a multi-billionaire tax avoider, and yet is regarded by David Cameron as an appropriate man to advise the government on austerity. His missing millions need to be reclaimed and invested into public services, not into his wife's bank account."
Phillip has maintained he pays his taxes in the UK and is doing nothing wrong.

On Friday, Italian prosecutor Laura Pedio put in a request to try Dolce & Gabbana founders Domenico and Stefano for tax fraud.
Last month officials investigated Gado, a company the designing duo set up in Luxembourg around 5 years ago, so they wouldn't have to pay Italian taxes.
As a result, the investigation found the company has failed to declare over 840 million euros (or $1.14 BILLION) in revenue.
Ouch.
It's unclear the punishment they'll face if found guilty, but we have a feeling it's not going to be good.

More bad news for Beverly Johnson!
On top of being sued for allegedly using a gunman to force her ex to sign separation papers, the supermodel owes more than $140,000 in unpaid taxes!
Both the IRS and the State of California claim the 58 year old owes $108,176 and $33,789 respectively for a grand total of $141,965 owed.
Ouch.
However, Beverly says she's resolved the situation and is making payments as per her payment plan.
