Lisa Marie Presley Isn't Just Broke — She's Millions In Debt!

no title

We'd heard Lisa Marie Presley had lost quite a bit of her inheritance — but this is so much worse than we thought!

After selling 85% of her interest in the Elvis Presley estate, she was flush — until, as she says, her former business manager, Barry Siegel, blew $100 million on bad investments. (He says she spent it all.)

But according to the latest documents in her divorce from Michael Lockwood, obtained by TMZ, Lisa Marie is actually $16 million in debt!

Apparently the bulk of that is $10 million in unpaid taxes — hope that doesn't get her into more trouble down the line — and a $6 million mortgage she defaulted on. The rest is credit card debt and attorney fees.

The revelation is in response to Lockwood's demand for her to pay his legal fees. Something tells us that isn't happening.

Can't remember to forget you to pay your taxes, Shakira!

According to Spanish tax authorities, the 40-year-old singer faces a possible investigation for allegedly failing to pay income tax between 2011 and 2014. The country says the mom of two, who is said to be worth more than $200 million, lived in the country during those years.

Sources close to the celeb say Shakira has done nothing wrong and that she has always fulfilled her tax obligations. Not to mention, she was outside Spain most of that time.

If the Waka Waka songstress is found to have moved to Barcelona before 2015, her tax bill could be tens of millions of dollars.

The Situation is looking grim.

Mike Sorrentino has reached a deal with the DOJ and agreed to plead guilty to tax fraud.

In case you forgot amid all the Jersey Shore revival hype, Mike and his brother Marc Sorrentino were indicted just over three years ago on charges of hiding income from the government.

The ongoing case only got worse last year as the MTV star was hit with more charges of tax evasion and falsifying records.

For hiding earnings of approximately $8.9 million between 2010 and 2012, The Blast reports Mike is facing a potential 15 years in prison, while Marc is looking at an even steeper 25-year bid.

It's a surprising turn of events considering just last week Sorrentino rejected a plea deal. Maybe he got a better look at his legal… situation?

Look, we're not going to apologize. It's not our fault he picked for his reality TV nickname a real word that might be necessary for describing his own legal matters years down the road.

ICYMI: Apparently The 'Tax Cut' Bill Also Tries To Make Abortion Illegal…

This "tax cut" bill is looking worse and worse every day…

The GOP is trying hard to jam a bill through the Senate, having already passed it in the House, supposedly all about tax cuts.

But so far we've seen this monstrosity:

- INCREASES taxes on many people who make less than $200,000/year while greatly LOWERING them on billionaires

- REMOVES tax exemptions for teachers, grad students, and the chronically ill while ADDING them for private jets and golf courses

- REMOVES the individual health insurance mandate from Obamacare, something experts agree is just another way to kill it since they can't repeal it

- is mostly an effort to keep billionaire donors giving money to Republicans (Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, and Chris Collins have all admitted as much publicly)

But this may be the craziest part yet!

Apparently this bill, which again the Republicans are selling as "tax cuts" — actually has language in it to

DMX Charged With Major Tax Evasion — But He's Not The Only Celeb To Face The Wrath Of The IRS!

UPDATE 6:47 P.M. EST: DMX has been released from jail on Friday after posting $500,000 bond (an amount he needed two co-signers for). According to TMZ, the rapper has pleaded not guilty to all 14 counts of tax evasion. A judge has also issued travel restrictions, prohibiting him from leaving the NYC area. Stay tuned…

DMX turned himself in to the feds Thursday evening after getting hit with 14 counts of tax evasion.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says the rapper could face could face up to 44 years in prison for hiding his income over several years and owning the IRS about $1.7 million!

According to the indictment, the 46-year-old didn't file taxes for ANY of the millions he made from his chart topping songs, performances and TV show appearances over the years.

The docs say DMX, real name Earl Simmons, went out of his way to evade taxes, including avoiding personal bank accounts, setting up surrogate accounts, and paying large expenses in cash.

Simmons even allegedly refused to tape his Celebrity Couples Therapy appearance in order to rip off the IRS what was owed. After the proper taxes had been withheld in the initial check, X demanded that producers issue him a new check for the full amount of $125,000 — which he got!

But it looks like he'll finally have to pay up — just like these other celebs who have dealt with tax troubles.

Considering how his last tax troubs hurt his recovery process, there was reason to worry.

The reality star was actually sober for nearly two years after going to rehab in 2012. But after being charged with tax evasion for the first time in 2014, he needed a way to cope.

Now, he didn't turn to drugs immediately. Obviously tanning and laundry aren't that good for relieving stress, but the gym was. Until he worked out so hard he cracked his ribs.

It was the painkillers prescribed by a doctor that sent him back down the path of relapse. He laments:
