Flagging down cabs in NYC can be a tricky business…

But not if you're an arachnid-human hybrid! Or if you're someone who has called ahead for a car service, LOLz!

Andrew Garfield and his golden-haired ladylove Emma Stone were spotted leaving their NYC apartment and getting into a hired car Thursday evening just around dusk (above).

The onscreen/offscreen couple dressed casually in comfy looking clothing for their night out, which is kinda surprising seeing as they later attended an off-broadway show.

Don't people usually dress up to go to the theater, or are we just be old fashioned? Hmm.

CIROC brand ambassadors are going to be handing out "Safe Ride" cards on New Year's Eve!

Each card will be redeemable for transportation via taxi, black cars and limos!

Then someone might hand you a Safe Ride card and you'll be able to make it home from your New Year's event in style! For free!

If not, you should still take a cab or arrange a ride because seriously, don't drink and drive!!

The NYPD saves the day!

And that is just what Jennifer Connelly needed while trying to avoid some pesky paparazzi during a break from filming Winter's Tale with Colin Farrell and Russell Crowe.

Guess she isn't as friendly with the paps as Amanda Bynes.

Luckily, since hubby Paul Bettany didn’t seem to be around, a nice officer helped her grab a taxi in order to make her getaway.

It looks like he even held her purse for her while she waited. Now that's a gentleman!

And she is surely glad he stepped in when he did because she was failing at trying to hide behind some festive Christmas trees.

Good job, NYPD. Another celebrity safely home!

Danny admitted to cameras recently that, while the duo is separated, they aren't officially broken up!

With a smile on his face, the 68-year-old actor swore he was in the process of working things out with his little lady!!

Hooray!! After all these years of bliss relative happiness, we're glad to see you aren't throwing in the towel!!

With more details emerging about Lindsay Lohan's violent fight with her mother, it's now clear how unnecessary and foolish the entire incident was!

According to sources close to the troubled actress, the initial fight erupted at the Electric Room early this morning because Dina wanted her daughter's limo service to drive her back to Long Island, as to avoid paying for cab fare!

As LiLo had been planning to just go back to her hotel room, she protested, but the elder Lohan was apparently "wasted" and became violent enough to scratch her own child's leg in the scuffle!
