Taylor Swift Testifies On Day Four Of Her Groping Trial: 'He Grabbed My Bare Ass'

taylor swift testifies day four butt grabing trial(1)

Taylor Swift is standing her ground.

On Thursday, the Blank Space singer took the stand to give testimony in the groping trial against a Denver based DJ, named David Mueller. As you likely know, the A-lister has accused Mueller of sexually assaulting her as he allegedly "grabbed her ass" during a meet and greet back in 2013.

The controversy took a messy turn when the scandalized DJ sued Swift for slander, but the hitmaker hit back with a sexual assault and battery countersuit. While David has denied the butt grabbing allegations, Taylor's testimony paints an entirely different picture. Under oath, the pop star stated that the action was "a definite grab."

Taylor Swift's Groping Trial: Day Three Recap

Taylor Swift

On Wednesday, Taylor Swift posted up in court once again to face off with the Denver DJ, David Mueller, who she claims "grabbed her ass" during a meet and greet back in 2013.

The radio show host has since accused the singer of slander, to which she counter-sued him for sexual assault and battery.

Today started off with a 45-minute sidebar conference without any press present in the court room before Mueller was cross-examined by Swift's attorney, Doug Baldridge.

Baldridge attacked Mueller's claim that Swift's accusations "rendered him unemployable" — when in fact, the personality only submitted himself for 20 jobs in the top markets. Mueller agreed there are "around 200" markets across the U.S.

The attorney also added that Swift intentionally did not go public with what happened initially after the incident — and that it was Mueller's own actions that got him fired from KYGO.

Later, Mueller's lawyer Gabe McFarland asked his client to describe the moment the infamous picture was taken once again — to which he responded:

Everything You Need To Know About Day Two Of Taylor Swift's Groping Trial

Taylor Swift

Day two.

Taylor Swift's trial against radio show host David Mueller for alleged sexual assault made some progress on the second day in court as the jury was selected, opening statements were made, and witnesses began taking the stand.

To catch you up, the songstress claims the former on-air personality "reached up under my skirt and grabbed my ass right when I was having to pose for a photo" back in 2013. The Denver DJ hit back by accusing the singer of slander, and Tay then counter sued David for sexual assault and battery. What a mess.

During Swift's lawyer's opening statement on Tuesday, the attorney argued the 27-year-old was "taking a stand for all women" and that "this is a case of sexual assault in the workplace":

"A woman is assaulted. She reports it and she gets sued … it doesn't make sense. She's trying to tell people out there that you can say no when someone grabs you no matter who they are."

He went on to accuse Mueller of targeting the songstress three times:

Here Are The 35 Questions Taylor Swift's Potential Jurors Had To Answer In Court

Was there an assault or not? This is the question at the center of Taylor Swift's trial.

Back in 2015, radio host David Mueller sued the singer claiming he lost his job when, he says, her security team wrongfully accused him of groping her at a 2013 meet-and-greet backstage at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

A month later, the Love Story musician countersued, claiming he "intentionally reached under her skirt, and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will, and without her permission."

Fast forward to Monday, jury selection for the trial began where all parties including Swift — dressed in a white dress and black jacket — were in attendance. According to the Associated Press, the DJ had his "back turned to Swift, who sat at a nearby table with her mother, Andrea Swift, and their attorney."

A total of eight jurors will be selected from a pool of 60, and each were asked 35 questions, focusing on whether they are fans of Swift and whether they saw the photo of Mueller and the now-27-year-old. Each side believes the snap will determine if an inappropriate touch occurred.
