Uh Oh, Lindsay! Insurance Investigation Finds In Favor Of Betty Ford Worker!

lindsay lohan betty ford drama continues

Time to step up your game, Team LiLo.

According to Betty Ford's insurance firm, Dawn Holland "was not the aggressor" in her altercation with Lindsay.

Here's what Holland's lawyer, Owen Latham McIntosh, had to say about it:

“I can confirm that Betty Ford’s insurance carrier Sedgewick CMS found out in their investigation that my client was ‘not the aggressor’ during the incident and that it did take place under the ‘course and scope’ of her employment at the center."

“She is now going to get her disability re-instated in around two weeks time – she will be entitled to two-thirds of her weekly income based on her average weekly earnings each year."

More from McIntosh:

“My client’s physician has already signed-off that she is temporarily disabled at the moment and therefore eligible for her benefits – I think that Betty Ford were inconsiderate to turn their backs on her.

“We have still not heard anything back from the Riverside District Attorney’s Office with regard to my client or any case they may or may not decide to pursue against her.

“Several issues remain to be considered before we decide to file any civil suit on my client’s behalf and although we have not filed anything yet it is not something we have ruled out either.

“Obviously, Dawn Holland is very pleased about these latest developments in her case and with the findings of the insurance company.”

Def NOT good news for Lindsay.

Maybe Dawn's team won't try to file a lawsuit, but if they do, Lindz could be in some serious trouble.

…Perhaps it's time to offer Ms. Holland even MORE money.

Thoughts???

Team LiLo Considering Lawsuit Against E*Trade Lindsay-Inspired Movie

team-lilo-considering-pursuing-legal-action-against-producers-of-move-dogs-in-pocketbooks-for-using-lindsay-lohans-likeness-without-permission

You don't mess with Lindsay's likeness!

As we mentioned yesterday, Lindsay Lohan Lydia Hearst is set to star in an upcoming movie Dogs in Pocketbooks, which is quite obviously based on LiLo's life.

Hearst is set to play "a bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, predatory paparazzi, off-the-wall stalkers and crazed media."

As a result, Team LiLo is considering pursuing legal action against the film's producers.

Here's what Dina Lohan had to say about the potential lawsuit:

"[The new movie] is definitely based on Lindsay's likeness. We have a very strong case. It's shadowing E*TRADE" — referring to Lohan's suit against the online brokerage firm which produced a commercial featuring a baby Lindsay."

Lohan family lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, continued:

"They are again using her likeness without her being compensated. Not only that but they are advertising the fact that they are using her likeness."

Looks like they've got a case here. Guess we'll see if the producers' pocketbooks are big enough to keep Dogs in Pocketbooks moving forward.

Thoughts???
