Looks like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is the beneficiary of yet another gig because he just landed a script deal with FOX for a new series called Boost Unit!

The hour-long action series will apparently follow Dwayne as a new recruit to the Los Angeles Police Department's Auto Theft Task Force — but he has a hidden past as a notorious getaway driver!

Well this should be… inneresting.

Believe it or not, Larry the Cable Guy is hosting a new game show that's all about contestants winning prizes if they can keep from laughing — because, well, he's the perfect guy for the gig?! Ha!!

The comedian, whose real name is Daniel Whitney, is currently in development with production company Thinkfactory Media on a concept based on a Finland game show called Hide The Smile.

Basically, it's a bunch of outrageous scenarios with celebrity guests and comedians where contestants are challenged to keep a straight face in order to win money and prizes.

Hmm…

He's Back! In A Surprise Move, Colton Haynes Is Returning To Arrow!

We didn't see this coming!

Colton Haynes who is a Halloween mastermind — left Arrow last season to pursue opportunities in movies, including a big role in San Andreas opposite Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Now, though, the TV-turned-movie star is turning back to TV again, as he's returning to Arrow this season for new episodes!

Haynes' character, Roy Harper (AKA Arsenal), faked his own death in prison last season as the impetus to free Haynes initially, but now it looks like the show's writers are going to have to fit Harper back in the plot line!

Arrow's executive producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed the news, describing Haynes' exit and why producers made this choice now:

A New Star Trek TV Show Is Coming — And Boldly Going Where No Franchise Has Gone Before…

We can't wait for Star Trek Beyond to hit theaters next summer — but now it looks like we have even more Star Trek to look forward to!

It's been reported that the sci-fi classic is heading back to television for a straight-to-series order at CBS!

Alex Kurtzman, who co-wrote 2009's Star Trek and 2013's Star Trek Into Darkness, is developing a new take on the series slated to premiere in January 2017!

The reboot will introduce new characters adventuring to never-before-seen worlds and new civilizations to explore dramatic themes that have been a staple of the series since it began in 1966!

So, it doesn't sound like this will follow the alternative universe set up in 2009's franchise revival, but an entirely new universe — though it's too early to rule out crossover completely!

After the pilot, all episodes of Star Trek will air on CBS All Access, the network's digital VOD and live streaming service!

The cross-platform streaming service is available for $5.99 a month, and contains thousands of episodes from past and present CBS shows — including all previous Star Trek series!

Will this revival series live long and prosper on the streaming service??
