Bill Maher, the funny political talk show host with the caustic wit on Real Time With Bill Maher, has been tabbed to play himself on the CBS legal drama The Good Wife.
We love Maher AND The Good Wife so we're expecting great things from these two together.

It will be partially based on his real relationship with his ex wife and his children. He will star and executive produce the project which will be written by Ali Leroi who did Everybody Hates Chris. Green will star as a version of himself as he tries to balance his career as a top recording artist and his frenetic home life.
This will be Green's first foray into acting for television. He made his theatrical debut in the film Sparkle earlier this year.
Congratulations 2 da man. We're sure this won't be his last gig in scripted television! In fact we have no doubt!
